Birds Really Like It.
Great favorite of Chickadees, Titmice and small wood peckers. My dog loves them too if I accidentally drop one while filling the feeder. I feel sure that this type of feeding has kept many birds alive during this harsh winter in the mountains.

Critters like it!
Birds and squirrels love it! They SWARM after this! I put some in a flat feeder and some on the ground, since I haven't purchased a specialized feeder for this, yet. All the little critters seem to love it. It's a lot cleaner than the sticky suet and fat based ones, so I may go ahead and buy the dispenser for this so the woodpeckers can get in on it. They're not much for feeding on the ground.

Deadly for birds
Do not buy this product! 2 dead chickadee birds within a day of each other after adding this to sunflower feed in my feeder. The first bird died directly under the feeder, the second only 5 feet away. Nothing else in their environment had changed and they had a clean source of water and were part of regular healthy flock of birds that included towhees, a junco, chickadees and various pairs of songbirds. Nothing had changed until I added the Unipet suet insect pellets. Horrible. I would give negative stars if I could.

The favorite food for "my" birds
UPDATE March 2012: Just ordered another 6 bags. I've been feeding this product from this seller to my birds for years, and it remains the favorite of the many foods I provide.Original review: These insect suet pellets are the favorite of all the many foods I offer in my garden. The pellet feeder is always mobbed by a wide variety of birds. I can't keep this feeder full!

Birds Hate It!
I went with mealworms for along time and the Chikadees love them. Wife could stand to look or smell mealworms so went with these. Had them in the feeder alone, Chikadees don't even come around. Mixed it with other food,and on the ground were all the pellets. They ate all the seeds. Learned my lesson, just stick with mealworms.

Good suet, convenient
Birds like this suit and it sees to hold together well. I mixed it right into my seed mix along with mealworms so there is something for everyone there.
