the ethanol burns cleanly with no soot or smell. you MUST be VERY careful and follow ALL safety instructions. never work with it filling another canister etc. near one that is lit. the vapors can ignite. and never refill a hot container. if you follow these directions it will be nice to use. We’ve been using the regal flame ethanol for years… Still haven’t been able to figure out the difference in the colors of the camps… But this particular order of this particular type of bio ethanol is clean as can be burns well and in the 48 pack is very cost effective! Our family really likes it!

I have not figured out how to get this fuel to burn for more than 30 or 40 minutes max. I was under the impression it would burn at least 3 to 4 hours. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if that's just the way the fuel is. Can someone provide guidance for me regarding this issue? I have contacted the seller twice and have not gotten any information on how to remedy this. They only respond by saying they will send my information to the appropriate department. However the appropriate department has not contacted me and it's been a week.

Here’s the gotcha... this brand burns about twice as fast as the last batch of lamp oil I used. Not a good thing.

I purchased biofuel from the seller a couple of times now and they have done a great job of getting it to me when they said and in excellent condition. My only complaint about the product, which is not a reflection on the seller in any way, is the little screen they have in the top of the bottles that prevents the biofuel from coming out quickly. I understand this is a safety measure for people who would try and fill a BURNING firebox, but for some of us who have the unit inside a fireplace, I have to be down on the floor crouching with my head in the fireplace trying to see where I'm pouring and to slow down the process of pouring makes it all that much more difficult. I wish they would come up with a long arm funnel that I could use that would allow me to more easily fill the fireplace then the little screen wouldn't be quite as much of a hassle. Again I know this is not a problem with the seller this is a safety measure that the manufacturers have put in to prevent people from getting burned. Other than that the product is great and the seller did great as well.

I've been purchasing this fuel for years - so far the best odorless fuel (and longest lasting) I've come across for my indoor, ventless fireplace.
