Great style of cuticle nippers
I love this type of cuticle nipper with the scissor type handle. It is so much easier to use than the more usual type of "squeeze" handle. However, while I am able to use these nippers, I found the finger holes to be a little smaller than I would have liked for my finger size. If you have large hands, you may want to order a pair with larger (perhaps oval) finger holes.

Not very comfortable to use
I ordered this pair of nippers and another brand. The other brand offered by Amazon are much better. The scissor portion sticks and requires that you remove the tool from the cuticle in order to get it to open again safely. I doubt that they will get much use. Would not recommend.

Cuticle Scissors
It is wonderful to be able to find an item on the internet that you could "once upon a time" purchase in a store. The first one we bought many, many years ago finally bit the dust and we have been looking for a replacement pair for 2 years. This past year I decided to look on the internet and low and behold I found them. They are the best kind of cuticle scissors ever. They can be used not only for the dry cuticle, but any other skin problem you need them for, such as they are good at getting splinters out of you fingers. Thanks Erbe for having them available.

I find these massively better than either those squeeze things
Revlon (among others I guess) used to sell these in the US, 20 years ago. Even on the internet these things are hard to find, but here they are. I find these massively better than either those squeeze things, which are a bit timid like safety scissors, those oversized big-handled scissors, cuticle pushers, or other variants. I still have my Revlon pair, which always have a little oxidation on them due to water getting in the hinge, so I recommend you stash these away from possible water splashes. Erbe model #1600, made in Solingen, Germany.

Blades don't match up very well.

Love it
Love it, I have an old Revlon like this that they no longer make. This is a perfect replacement. It is easy to control, very sharp blades. The plyers type are hard to control. The company that shipped this was very slow, it took 3 weeks to arrive.

The product that arrived was absolutely nothing like the picture
The product that arrived was absolutely nothing like the picture, completely different product all together. Now have the hassle of shipping it back to get my refund.
