Top to Bottom Down Under Top to Bottom Down Under (Adventures Around the World) Paperback – Picture Book, October 20, 2014

My 4 year old daughter and I read this book yesterday and I am not sure who enjoyed it more. She actually said at the end "mommy, what a good book," a first complement of such kind.The adventures in Australia described are not overwhelming for a child, just enough facts mixed in with gee wiz entertainment. All the usual (for Australia) animals are discussed, some unusual details brought up. Who knew Platypus has venom?Hope you will enjoy the book as much as we did.

Ted and Betsy Lewin take you to two parks in Australia -- Kakadu National Park and Kangaroo Island. They show you the wildlife (and interact with it). The text and illustrations are VERY well done, with a mix of realistic watercolors and humorous cartoons. My family of boys enjoys this book.
