Style Book: Fashionable Inspirations

i was perusing amazon, saw this book, and the cover alone reeled me in. after paging through this volume in its entirety, i just love it!the book itself is a little larger than a 5x7 photograph and about 2 inches thick, so while a little small (format-wise), it showcases the subject matter beautifully.the book is broken down into the following chapters:checkmatedivine in denimspot the stripeexotic influencespoolside to seasidefur too farflower powerall in onebutton upfrills and furbelowsshimmer and shineattention to detailanimal magicthe images span a century of fashion and are just divine. dozens of the photos inspired me to read more about those involved. to say the images are simply beautiful does them no justice whatsoever. they are intriguing.this book is well worth the price if you are interested in fashion, photography, or both. what a tremendous historical reference!

I bought this book to give as a gift. There are pictures from the 1930's to near present day. A great book.

very conversation piece for coffee table

I could look at these pictures all day. Bought 2nd hand copy. Arrived quickly from the States. Book in much better condition than I thought it would be.

Pleasant book of photos of celebrities. When you've looked through it twice, pass it on to someone else.

I absolutely love this book and it came in a timely manner, the only issue I have is that one page is missing from the back (torn out).I will forever wonder what the pages content was.

Useful reference book .

As a 40 plus woman who's looking for style inspiration, this isn't exactly what I was looking for. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful book full of iconic images of the likes of James Dean, Louis Armstrong, Kate Moss, Jackie O etc. alongside street style pics of 'ban the bomb' campaigners, shop assistants and much much more. There really is something for everyone and I don't think I'll ever tire of browsing through it. Even my 16yr old daughter loves it. If you're even slightly interested in style & fashion, you won't be disappointed. This book is definitely a welcome addition to my coffee table.
