Love this sews on so smoothly!

I didn’t read the description and I had no idea this was embroidery thread. I bought it because of the price alone. At the time there was no thread in any store near me. I won’t lie, I was super mad when I opened it and saw how thin it was. It’s is also very silky and slippery. I do like how the thread is multiple colors. I was desperate, so I tried it. It works just fine. I use it to make masks and ear savers. We have washed our masks a few times on the delicate setting (but we don’t dry them in the dryer) and the stitches are still holding up. I probably won’t use it for anything else but masks, or unless I decide to buy an embroidery machine.In the picture, the green fabric is actually super thick and it had held up nicely. The weird stitching is because I’m not the best seamstress and my machine has temper tantrums.In the second picture, the white is after I’ve been using it for a few months. I’ve only used the green a few times. I haven’t even touched the other two in the box.

I do love the way the thread sews and would give it a 5 star rating. I do give the Variagated Collection B a 5 star. I'm giving the Collection A a 4 star rating because one of the colors it shows on Amazon was not the color I received for Collection A. The Amazon website showed Green, Blue, Whitish, and a really pretty lavender color. In place of the lavender color they sent me an orange variegated color. I can use the orange, but am not as happy with it as I would have been the color they showed on the website and on my order page that they no longer show on the website. Maybe I should have sent the whole order back, but since I can use the orange I decided to keep it. The thread works well in my embroidery machines and I do love all the other colors. Pictured are the colors advertised; the front one on the left was substituted for orange.

Simthread never disappoints me. I do alot of machine embroidery, so I go through a lot of machine embroidery thread. I have tried other much more expensive thread, and I always go back to Simthread. They give you a good quality thread, for an excellent price. The picture is of the three 5500 yard spools I received on this order, with an empty spool I bought at a national chain fabric store. I paid the same for 1 spool of the Simthread (5500 yards) as I did for the little spool (1000 meters). The Simthread has a much nicer "shimmer" and more vivid coloring. By the way, I have a Baby Lock Ellisimo Gold.

I purchased this package because it had the colors I mostly use to embroider at Christmas time. The Red and Green are vibrant beautiful colors, perfect for the holidays. I use a lot of these two colors in particular during the Holidays so these extra large spools are a great value! And I always need white and black, so this is not only a great value but everything I need. Simthread is the best embroidery thread I have found for the cost. Great value, doesn't break, brilliant colors at an affordable price. I will be purchasing more in the future. I have already purchased many color sets and they are all great!

I was nervous using this big spool with just a coffee cup to hold the thread since it was too big to put on my machine and especially when doing a dense design like this. I encountered one issue, but it seems to be a design issue - the thread performed exceptionally with no breaks. (double tear away stabilizer) It doesn't seem to have the sheen of other colors, but maybe it's just how white thread looks.Overall...very happy with this SIMTHREAD 4 BIG SPOOL purchase!(white, red, black, green - my most-used threads)

This product was very easy to use. I had some other thread that bundled up, which discouraged me a lot, but this thread did the complete opposite. I have a Brother SE600 and I used this thread for an embroidery project. It worked wonders. Although the spool is way too big to fit at the top of my machine.

I have been using Simthread for several years. These huge spools are wonderful as the smaller spools. Beautiful colors and no breakage. The spool is very large, too large to use on the embroidery machine. I have a thread stand, so this is no issue for me.
