I am no pro when it comes to fins but I do body surf and spend a lot of time in the ocean. I had always gone with the old style long fins like you get at Walmart for $30 but these are a whole different animal. They're short so you can pretty much walk in them if you have to, but the power you get when kicking is unparalleled. I can seriously go about twice the speed as with any fins I've owned before and these are like half the length, plus the way they are shaped, you get power kicking up AND down, really remarkable and I can't believe I have lived without them for so long. They are also very comfortable, no pinch points, no blisters, fit perfectly, not too tight but don't fall off. Can't recommend highly enough and would give 10 stars if I could.

I had been using vipers for several years but kept getting cramps in my calves that pulled me from the water. I would hydrate but couldn't stand more than an hour in the water. I'm 60 and need all the help I can get so I figured I'd spend the $$$ for DaFin. They are soft and comfortable for my feet and after half a dozen times at Brennecke Beach, Kaua'i, no cramps. They take a little getting used because of the width and the type of kick, but I feel good about the money I spent.

Had them before but not at a good price like Amazon. These will deliver the kick and travel distance without making your feet sore. I wear a size 11, kinda wide but not too wide shoe. These are perfect. If you are 11, don't get the xl fins, get the large.

They feel light and comfortable on the feet. Even though they float, I now use fin leashes with them because I've lost one fin a couple times in strong surf that carries them away quickly. The good news is that they are ambidextrous. I lost one fin from one pair, then later lost a fin from another pair. So now, I have a pair of non-matching fins that work just fine. Still, I bought a third pair just to have a matching set.

I'm a lifelong body surfer in Southern California who started off with Duckfeet back in the day. I eventually gravitated over to Churchhills in the 1990's. Neither brand was comfortable and my feet always paid a heavy price as a result. Now at 72 years old (true) I finally decided to try DaFin. Went out with them for the first time yesterday and what a revelation. No pain! Now I only wish I would've made the switch years ago.

Overall a 5 star pair of fins. Loved using them in California surf. Comfort 4/5 star: all things considered and relative to other surf fins I have used. I am a size 10-10.5 US shoe. Med-Large fit great.

Best pair of fins Iv owned. Very comfortable and work excellent use them for body surfing.
