Beard Straightener Comb for men - Electric Quick Hair Straightening Brush Multifunctional Hair Curler Comb (UK)

After watching videos of beard straightening brushes I figured I'd give it a go because who doesn't want a well behaved beard?The item arrived quick which is always a plus and the packaging was fine, the instruction booklet wasn't great, for a hair product I was hoping for more of a guide on the best way to use this and had to resort to youtubing it as the booklet was very basic.When I finally was able to use the brush as with all straighteners it takes a while to heat up, I ran it through my beard and not a lot happened, after quite some time of brushing in the same direction at various speeds I was able to get a somewhat straightened beard but I wasn't massively impressed with the result.It took a while for it to look like it was actually working on my beard.I've used it once since I bought it and it's now gathering dust on a shelf because with the amount of time it took to get a somewhat straight beard I'd rather just go out looking like a tramp I stead of going through the whole routine for the brush to "kind" of work.My honest opinion would be, if you wanna try it for a laugh then it's worth it but as part of a routine to get ready? Takes too long to get a decent result.

But with a trickThe Product comes with some basic instruction manual, has 2 heat control settings, 1 for medium hot (for thin hair) and 2 for hot (for thick hair)The product starts to get hot pretty quickly in about 30 seconds but i usually leave it for about a minute so all the mini blue tongs are evenly hot.HOW TO USE THE BEARD STRAIGHTENER?Firstly it will make your beard Dry! When dry it will look bushy. Simple maths, heat takes away moisture.I have a thick bushy long beard! Imagine a Brunnete lion lol!Best solution-After shower I dry my beard with a towelI then apply tiny amounts of pure Olive oil (refined one that is light yellow in colour, local pharmacies sell them)Don't use the cooking or salad olive oil! You will smell like a chips shopMean while I switch the straightner on and leave it on a silicon mat (to avoid table or shelf burn)Once it's hot I then slowly brush through the beard with another standard brush to position the hair straight. Repeating it around 10 to 15 times eventually the beard starts to look straight.If there is generous amounts of oil then your beard will start to look shiny, no dry curls on the sides. If not then rub some more and apply on the sidesOnce done just use your hands and gently press on the sides of the beard to earth any friction in the hair.Finally olive oil has its scent I then spray my favour perfume on my palms and rub it on my beard to dampen the oil scent.And Voila! You should have a pretty straight natural looking shiny beard.

Rubbish quality, hardly used and stopped working with in a month of use....I was out of country so sound bothered to return it.....DONT buy it...waste of money

Black hair/beard review. If you don't have these characteristics feel free to ignore.Now you can use this to lengthen and straighten your beard. It is especially helpful with the parts we find hard to get to like under your neck etc.Do not under any circumstances follow the 'use dry' advice it will destroy your beard or hair. Make sure your hair is clean and conditioned then add a heat protecting oil of some kind. I go for castor oil or coconut oil usually as it really sticks around after combing. Aside from that don't overdo it use this maybe once a week tops but every other week is plenty to lengthen your beard/hair and keep it detangled.

It takes a lot of work. Not the same thing as shown in the videos.

Heat output at the highest level is terrible. It’s only 25W it takes AGES to get hot(15mins and still not there) . In a cold room it won’t even get there. However it’s enough to tame the hair on my head. My beard takes a long time as it doesn’t get hot enough. Personally I’d spend a smidge more and get a better wattage one. For the price it ain’t awful.

Definitely seems to have tamed my beard.The comb protects me from burning my skin but i still need to be careful.Heats up super quick who is useful but takes a long time to cool down; so I make sure I leave it on a kitchen top if i'm leaving the house. If left carelessly on wrong surface could easily start a fire tbh. Maybe a fire proof cover is required as with many women's hair straighteners.

My boyfriend loves this for his beard smooths it right down so it’s not bushy! Brush was well worth the money only reason I knocked off a star is because it gets really hot and no heat mat is provided with the product to let it cool down on so we have to leave it out
