Modibodi Women’s Period Menstrual and Incontinence Underwear in Heavy Absorbency - Classic Bikini Black

I wanted to write a review for moms that are struggling with helping your 10 year old who started their period :-( I sent daughter to school in a pad, but she was too embarrassed to change at school. None of her friends had started. The plastic wrap of the pad is loud and crinkly. Some stalls at school don't have waste bins. Removing the pad from panties was loud. She didn't want to leave her desk and go to her cubby to get a pad or purse and be noticed going to restroom. All of this was overwhelming for a 10 year old (and mom).I searched ALL period panties. This brand had the best reviews & DOES NOT REQUIRE PADS OR TAMPONS! Yes! I was desperate. I was also very skeptical. But, I am super pleased to report that my daughter has worn these to school through 2 period cycles now, WITH NO PAD OR TAMPON and had no leaks!!! She didn't change panties at school-wore the same pair from 8-3ish. No leaks. She reports that the are comfy. She is so happy.Again, she is 10, so women or older teens may find that they leak if worn that long, idk. The company reports they hold 2 tampons worth of liquid. However, if we find that they leak as she gets older, she can wear a pad in them and remove the pad 1/2 way through the day. She still avoids the embarrassment of carrying pads, purses, loud wrappers, etc.I consider these underwear a lifesaver. They are MAGIC. We now have 5 pair - which I recommend since you wash and hang to dry.Daughter is 10, thin build, weighs 75lbs and the size USA 3XS was perfect fit.Update: Don't try PantyProp brand. Terrible.

I have menorrhagia and am ridiculously heavy for the first 5 days. I’ve traditionally used ultra tampons with overnight pads as backup; I would soak through both in less than 1.5 hours—which is really cool during business meetings. Switching to a cup, plus these as backup, have prevented embarrassing accidents/leaks, and prevented living in the bathroom every hour on the hour.I wear an 8/M is US sizes, so the AU 12/M fits perfectly.

I bought my first few pairs of Modibodis from their website, and saw that Amazon also had a few selections! This is my second pair of "heavy" absorbency. I love using these on my heavy nights, along with my cup. I'll eventually fill the cup and the underwear has done great when using it alone for the rest of the night (3-4 hours). I am SO surprised when I wake up to find that not only did I not leak, the underwear has somehow made the wet dry up! It's like magic underwear! And it's the most comfortable fabric! Good bye to feeling like I'm wearing a diaper at night!!!!I'd recommend checking out the Modibodi website selections first--I especially love the classic boyleg for extra coverage. And they have cute colors!!

I was so very excited to receive these panties. I had researched them quite a bit and was willing to take the risk per the wonderful reviews written from so many sites about the quality. I bought a larger size because I have some medical scars on my hips and the panties are loose, but seems to be where they need to be for my comfort. I was curious about how they would perform and I was really happy when I saw that they did do what they were created to do. I wondered if they would make me hot and sweaty since the material has wool and other materials used, but I didn’t feel bogged down by it. The only thing ha that I was a little bummed about was that hand washing in cold water is how to clean them and then hang dry. The hang drying took several days to dry. After washing it one evening and hanging it to dry and then letting it dry the whole next day it never completely dried and I researched and saw that putting them on delicate in the dryer for a little amount of time is something they suggested in their Q&A section. It is a pretty pricey item and I was hoping the turn around from wash to wear would be one day the MAX and not two. I can’t affor two pairs right now.

These were pretty good. I was testing out other brands because I really enjoyed the Thinx brand, but they're too expensive to buy so many pairs to use for one cycle, so I tried these. I really liked these, although they do not hold quite as much as the Thinx brand or the EvaWear brand, they are very soft and feel quite comfortable and did work for lighter flows. I wouldn't trust these on a heavier flow day; but they worked fine for a couple of hours on an easy day. I will likely buy another pair or two of these to go along with my Thinx and EvaWear pairs to use for lighter days. I like them.

My 11 year old daughter recently started her period. I hate it for her so bad, but these undies seem to make it much less of an issue than I thought it would be for her. They work amazingly well!

I love how well these work! I wore a pair overnight with no other protection and had no leaks at all. They are comfortable to wear, I found them true to size (you want them a bit snug, obviously, to help minimize the risk of leaking). I have another brand of period panties but I prefer the cut/fit of these. They do take a bit of time to air dry, so I can't wash them in the evening and wear them the next day, so it helps to buy a few pairs.
