Excellent photographs used for wild animals and insects!
We use these cards for homeschooling. They are very helpful for Right Brained learners who need to see a visual aid along with the vocabulary word. We use them for Spelling practice challenges. The cards are true to size stated 3” x 4.25”. My son likes the punch hole at the corner of each card to keep all the cards on a key ring that is included in the plastic bag pkg. You can use these cards in many ways. For example, we like to use them for Spelling and the backside of each card uses the word in a sentence to read as well. The cards are nicely laminated and sturdy. We are pleased with our order and will be purchasing more for Spelling for other categories.

These cards do not represent a diverse group of people. Be careful if using them with children.
These cards are well made, with large print that is easy to read. They also have clear pictures, however, I am very unhappy with them. I teach elementary P.E and planned on using these with my students. When I received the cards I decided I could not use them. They are not appropriate for diverse students and I feel they send a misogynistic message. The cards feature only caucasian people. Some of the cards send poor messages to women about beauty standards. For example, the card for "waist" features a woman measuring her own waist with a measuring tape and the sample sentence is "She has a slim attractive waist". I don't understand how someone could print a card like this and think that it is an ok message to send to young children. Another card, which features the word "eyebrow" shows a woman filing in her eyebrows with makeup and the sample sentence is about how her makeup is done well. These cards are targeted at young children, so I don't think many of them will relate to a well penciled eyebrow. Maybe these cards wouldn't be so frustrating if they also featured people with different body types or ability levels, or if they showed women doing other activities than makeup, but they do not. The fact that it only features caucasian people means that it does not represent a huge percentage of my students, and I don't want them to see these cards and think that they don't matter as much. I would have loved something a bit more diverse that would make a wider group of children feel included. I also would have liked more well thought out sample sentences for each word.

Good but could be better
Mostly good photos. The picture of the nose has a hair over it. I use these daily and for teaching and I hate to look at that one card of the nose. I wish they had a knee photo and a few others, like thigh ang hip. I am not thrilled with the leg photo. Some photos are great, lots of good eye pictures (lash, brow, eye).
