A couple gripes, but still good thermals
Got these as a base layer under my uniform during winter months...so far they’ve kept me fairly comfortable at temperatures as low as 20 degrees. Colder days they still do fairly well, but with wind you’re going to notice a little room for improvement.Allegedly, these will work in summer too by keeping you cool, but I have yet to test them during hot days.My only notes if concern or grievance are these:1) the leg length is quite long. I ordered medium and I can stretch the bottom of the legs over my foot to almost my toes. I’m 5’9”, 175lbs athletic build with a 32” waist. The leg length on these could accommodate someone about 6’4” easily but that be a fairly skinny tall dude. I just bunch these up around the ankles and it doesn’t seem to affect the fit of my socks or duty boots, so it’s not a huge issue.2) the waist band is straight up elastic. With today’s prevalence of “comfort soft” waist bands used by most major manufacturers, I’m not sure why this older style elastic was used. It is only moderately annoying after wearing uniform pants and a duty belt all day, but it’s notable3) there’s a ‘D’ logo on the right hip made out of some weird rubbery material, it’s almost sticky. It hasn’t collected lint or anything, it’s just odd.4) no pee hole. Seriously, when you’ve got a uniform, belt, tac vest and duty belt on, it’s a literal and figurative pain in the d*ck to not have a pee hole in your underwear! Manageable, but come on!5) Lastly, the stitching is a little thick. Might prove to be a good thing for durability, but it can be seen through my uniform pants when I’m seated. Who cares, right? I care, that’s who! But I don’t care much...Overall, good thermals. I’ll probably buy a couple more pairs...especially if they can add a pee hole

These are great compression tights for the price
These are great compression tights for the price. I hate paying $$$ for Nike or UA products but in the past those are the only ones that fit properly, especially when it comes to compression gear. I am glad I found these. I purchased the bright yellow/green since I do a lot of running early in the morning and wanted some added visibility. For reference, I am about 5' 6" with 32 waist and purchased a M and they fit great, just a little long but I am used to that with my height. Hope that helps!

Exactly what I was looking for.
These fit perfectly, I'm 5'11, 220lbs, and the extra large was perfect. I use them to protect my legs from the sun (UPF 30) while walking, and though they don't make this 53-year-old a fashion maven, they do what they were meant to do, breathe and keeping my legs cool. I wear shorts over them because no one cares about my "package." But they are VERY comfortable to where while exercising.

Great Product, Just Unsure of Sizing
I like these alot. They’re exactly what I was looking for in a non-insulated tight that I could wear with or without shorts over them at the gym or running, or under jeans on somewhat cold days I bike to work. At 5’9” 175# 31-32” waist, normally a 31-30 in jeans, I got the medium thinking that with recent growth in my legs, I’d need the room. They’re a little too big. Rise is too long, legs a little too long, and frankly a little “blousy.” As I had already worn them over the course of a day to test, I didn’t return, but I will get the small next time.

Happy with the use for sports and for cold weather
Been wearing these for about a year hitting the gym, but wore them for the first time 12/13 as a baselayer for the NYC cold. First real day of cold in NYC today; I absolutely do not know how i survived year upon year without having these. The old school way was thermals and long johns, but they were thick and added weight/made you sweat. This is definitely 21st century layering. Happy with the use for sports and for cold weather.

Order a size larger
I would normally purchase a Large for my purposes but in this case there were a lot of reviews warning to buy a size bigger. That was great advice. I got the XL and they fit nicely without being too tight. I use these for my bike commute to work in the mornings and they have kept me pretty comfortable. It hasn't been too cold yet, but I don't see that being a problem as we only ever really get into the 30's at the coldest.

Great under your jeans
Love these baselayer pants But i'm not sure if there Thermal??? The reason I say this is because I own a couple of the Defender Long Sleeve Compression Shirts which I love but then I ordered the Defender "Thermal" Compression Long Sleeve shirt and when I got it it was about twice as heavy, It felt like a thermal shirt should feel like. But these Thermal Compression Baselayer Pants feel just like the ones that don't say Thermal?I own 1 of each and I cant tell them apart. But with that being said I really love these baselayer pants, They do keep you warmer and they don't ball up inside your jean's like other thermal or long johns do.Now the size is funny because in all Compression shirts I have to go up 2 size to a 2XL but in the bottoms, both the baselayer leggings and the underwear type they are true to size. I have a 33 to 34 waist and the large fit's me perfect. Hope this helps

Overall, very pleased with these and at this price (£10) they are a bargain
Size purchased: US-Small.I have a 34" waist (as just measured with a tailor's tape), although this seems to equate to 32" waist (or "Medium" in the UK sizes) for most clothing - certainly 34" trousers all seem very loose on me now. I followed the sizing chart in the item's photo-info (and mentioned a couple of other reviews) and ordered a US-small, and glad I did. This fits my waist perfectly and is extremely comfortable. Leg length also was not too bad (I'm short legged with 27" inside), so only a small turn-up (approx 1.5" - 2") at the ankle required. The main legs area (primarily quads/thighs) is a tiny bit lacking compression compared to my existing set of Skins-branded compression tights, but the Defender's are still doing the job. As per the picture, they seem to be designed for rather extreme developed quads - I wouldn't say I have skinny legs, but they are not so developed as the model/image. Perhaps as my running continues that will "tighten" the fit (I am aware my legs are improving/bulking up a bit as I do more). At this time, it makes them very comfortable for post-training, light-compression. The ankles bit was tight to get off round the heels - will probably return to the "peel off inside-out" method rather than the "pull from ankle-cuff" that I've used with other makes. They have a silky-smooth feel to the material - very comfortable. Stitching all seems to be of a high standard finish (most compression leggings seem to suffer from this over time).Overall, very pleased with these and at this price (£10) they are a bargain.

College 🏈
I played football in a game using this baselayer and despite multiple talked and hits to the grass still managed to keep clean. The material prevents the body from sweating and is not warm which is perfect for any football position like linebacker and runnerbacker
