ROBUST Men's Full Sleeve Cowl Neck T-Shirt

As advertised. Foul smell til laundered

I feel like I'm in Assassin's Creed. I bought my stepson one too.

I want to first review the Robust brand and this line of shirts, then I will review this particular Cowl Neck T-Shirt. I attached a couple pictures of all of the Robust shirts I am reviewing, and then one of this shirt on me to show how it fits. I am 6'0" and 180 lbs. and this is a Large size shirt. I do usually wear Large size.The Robust brand of shirts, at least represented by these four, are a form-fitting shirt that is all cotton. The material is dense, somewhat stretchy and not see-through. The shirt tags are sewn on the inside back of the neck. The cotton material is soft and breathable, although it does seem to hold heat pretty well. Today was a perfect day for these shirts in NY, as it was in the low to mid 60s today and cloudy. I wore them with a standard white T-shirt underneath and I was perfectly comfortable outdoors when there was no wind. I think they would be too warm in the summer if the temp was above 70, especially in direct sun and especially the black color that I have. These shirts would make a great base layer for Spring/Fall/Winter wear. Stitching and finish appear to be good - no loose threads or uneven seams that I can see.Now, this Full Sleeve Cowl Neck T-Shirt seems a bit looser than the two low neck T-Shirt I also reviewed. It's still the same material though -- like a T-Shirt material, not thick like a sweatshirt. Maybe this is just a style element, but I am not sure what to do with the Cowl Neck. It's pretty tall, taller than a turtleneck that can cover up to my eyes, and very loose like a hoodie. You can't pull it over your head, but there are strings to tighten it although that just looks weird. It might be practical in winter as a neck gaiter? I'm pretty practical when it comes to clothes and this cowl neck is not really practical, so this is just not my style. But you may find that it's fine for you.

Nice shirt, comfy, washes up nice, and looks like a simple long-sleeve black T-shirt with a hood (except there's no hood, but the appearance of this makes it appear that way). Initially, I was put off by the "cowl" neck, which I associate with women's sweaters from the 1980s, but the shirt, as I said above, looks more like a hooded T-shirt than a feminine cowl neck. They should really change the name, even if it IS technically correct. I kind of doubt most men are looking to add "cowl neck" shirts to their wardrobe. But that's just my two cents.

From my wife: This shirt's marketed for men, but I've been wearing it and like how it looks and feels on me. The best part is the cowl neck, which is quite high (it goes over my eyebrows when completely pulled up). You can adjust the width with the drawstrings and when tightened, it serves the function of a lightweight scarf, keeping your neck warm. The fabric, 100% cotton, is on the thinner side, but it's not see-through and it's comfortable. Good body and sleeve length. I think what this t-shirt is missing is a nice kangaroo pocket.

I got this orignally for my husband but I ended up taking it for me. soft cotton material is both warm and cool. the neckline is rounded so doesnt feel like I am being strangled. I like the arms are long on me cause I like the sleeves to go to my knuckles. It is very soft and comfortable. I wear it with jeans. Washes great and dryer safe does not shrink or require ironing after I love it

This can be used by men/women both..I had wondered about the cowl neck on a man but this works very well. The actual cowl collar is large but nicely soft & drapey. It has the 2 drawstring cords on it that you can pull to tighten up..think sweatshirt hood. This makes it look athletic and keeps the neck warm!. Sleeves are nicely long + shirt falls past waistline, easy tuck in or leave out. Not bulky or flimsy material, soft too. Easy wash and looks good on

I wear a regular fit, medium sized shirt comfortably in most brands. This shirt runs a bit small for regular fit. I would say it errs on the side of slim fit, but the sleeves at least on me are two inches to short. The fabric is soft and light almost “airy” and seems of average construction. I suppose it would be an ok shirt if it fit.
