Installed in late September...now 4 November. Battery works fine...no issues. Charged and discharged 3 times per manufacturer recommendation. Little tools supplied was the only items used to replace battery.Reviewed numerous YouTube videos and downloaded service manual for Alienware 15R2. Disassembly was tedious but doable. Removed old battery by disconnecting battery cable and removed two screws. Installed new battery and connected cable and two screws. Reassembly in reverse order was equally tedious. Need to be careful not to drop screws inside laptop crevices and openings.Battery life appears to be less than the original but acceptable for me.Battery itself was easy to install...getting to this battery treasure and replacing it was an adventure like Indiana Jones.Good value for the money at this time...no issues.Will update if needed

Not sure if the other reviews are fake or I got a bad battery. Install took a lot of time and effort. Finally got new battery installed and everything back together, laptop powered up just fine. BIOS said battery was functional and windows said battery was 100% charged after I left it to charge for several hours... yet, it doesn't work. As soon as I unplug the charger, the laptop dies. It cannot run off the battery. This is unlike when my original battery died and the laptop reported an error. The instructions say this is due to a problem with the BIOS or a short but neither seem likely considering BIOS reports the battery is working fine. Either way, completely useless.

It is actually the Alienware brand but Swealeer put their logo sticker over it on the battery...Better price than buying it from the actual alienware company or Dell. My sister replaced the battery on alienware 15 R2 and now it works great. Projected lifespan is about 3 years, which kind of stinks but nothing can you do about it. My original battery lasted just about 3 years. Replacing the battery is a pain but that's not the battery itself problem but Dell/alienware... Took about 2 hours but we're not laptop mechanic experts so that's probably why...I love the tools that came in the kit box which made replacing the battery easier because 15 R2 has at least 2 or 3 different screws just to get to the battery.Will update if it screws up soon :p

The charge is fine. It gets warmer than the original battery. It has no lingering smell. The included pouch of mini screwdrivers were nice touch, but the prying tool is weak; the plastic edge bent and broke apart whenever I used it, leaving plastic bits all over the computer inners.Speaking of inners,This laptop was designed right after Dell bought Alienware, and the rushed job shows in the poor serviceability, especially for DIY maintenance. You pretty much need to take apart the entire laptop in order to replace the battery. It took about an hr to disassemble the laptop, 20 mins for the battery to charge enough where the laptop started without the charging cable attached. All-in-all, the battery seems to work well, and having a functioning battery is so very worth it.

I replaced the bad battery in my Alienware M15 R2. I bit tricky to replace if you haven't taken apart an Alienware laptop before. Requires you remove RAM to get to hidden screw underneath! Battery is working fine and all things seem good. SWEALEER recommends you remove the battery if you connect an external power for use for a long time. I don't know how practical that is.

I recently installed the battery. It shows up fine on system: BIOS registers it as no problems, it shows as charged on the taskbar, and a powershell report confirms the battery is in working order. When I try to run the device on battery power, though, it shuts off/does not start.Can't find support information online to contact seller, and don't know where to go from here.

Battery works as expected and the tools provided were all that was needed to change the battery, plan on at least half hour to do the swap and keep track of all screws and connectors while doing the swap. Battery life is not that great but that's because the laptop is a beast and never really was meant to be used on battery for extended periods.

After completing tearing apart my laptop to replace the battery, the swealer battery wouldn’t charge or hold a charge. I plugged it in and the laptop started up fine, but it said there was a critical battery failure. Let it charge for 24 hours, still nothing. Took the laptop back apart to check my installation, still didn’t work. Put the old battery back in because I at least get an 8% charge.
