Worked very well for my CNC
I have a bobscnc e4. I purchased this because the cables kept getting in the way of the top axis and made it forget where it was. I placed this on it and I haven't had an issue since. Took about two hours to get right, but I will post some images later on how I set mine up and place the tutorial I wrote on the FB forum for BobsCNC. Hopefully with this information it should save you some time. This product seems durable and was quite easy to use. I mean I'm not sure what else I would expect from this item. It's a pretty simple item to use.I probably should have adjusted where the blue USB cord is but I didn't want to destroy the zip ties because of laziness. It probably will bother my Ocd though at some point. Anyways. I drilled new holes on the top of where my X axis motor is, using a 5/32 drillbit, and using those L shaped curved pieces that were for cable management. It was a bit hard at first because I had never put one on another piece of equipment.Anyways, if you are a newb like me avoid these mistakes.1. Don't try to use the full length of the drag chain if you do not have to. I didn't know it could be shortened for some stupid reason. I promise I am not usually this absent minded.2. Don't overshorten your drag chain. This caused me a lot of headache.3. Make sure you have enough slack in your cords.4. Yes, you have to use the clips all the way up otherwise the other clips will come off as it moves. Be sure you have enough slack to do this.5. You need the L shaped bracket that is on the back wall to be closer to the bottom otherwise you won't be able to hit the X axis home switch. You will notice in my Pic that it is behind the wall(not sure why I am calling it that, sorry) and not in front of it and that I screwed this up(see the random hole above the L bracket) by having it too high causing it to hit the chain.I tested this and it does work so far without issues. There is a large piece on the side that is for cable management. I cut mine in half, however you can take it off. I cut it in half because it was in the way of my drag chain. At some point if someone really needs I will make this guide even easier to follow by just counting how many links mine has and posting that. This is the E4 the E3 will need less links.Anyways, that's my experience and I hope it is helpful.

Better than Igus at 1/8th the cost!
I've always used Igus cable chain but decided to try this lower cost alternative for a 24" X 24" CNC router project and I'm glad I did! It's 1/8th the cost of the Igus and even when ignoring that very powerful advantage, I actually think I like this cable chain better! It's slightly easier to remove links to shorten it or add links to lengthen it. I removed five links to fit my router's gantry travel perfectly. I also love that the mounting ends are included and pre-installed, making it easier to buy and easier to install. It also flexes more freely than the Igus cable chain which is great for low powered CNC projects like CNC routers or CNC lasers. The injection molded parts are of high quality and seem durable, and it's available in a wide variety of sizes. Pro Tip: Buy the next larger size. You'll probably need it, and even when you could have shoe horned your cables and hoses into the next smaller size, you'll make your life much easier when you have a little more room to pull cables and the cable chain will flex more readily when it's not jammed to capacity. The only down side I could find to this cable chain is that the covers on the links pop off perhaps a bit too easily, but this can also be a positive when you need to pop the tops off to arrange the cables and hoses or reach a problem spot when feeding that last cable. It's sort of like a cross between the closed and open top cable chain. If you find the links popping off when you don't want them to (this doesn't happen on mine), the links appear to be made from black nylon, so you could heat seal them together with an old soldering iron pressed into the tabs and slots where the tops snap onto the links, or apply a small dab of epoxy. But this probably won't be necessary.

Basically works, but plastic tabs can break easy and the covers can pop off
The Story:Purchased three for a home built CNC router. Combined them together for two 1500 X 1500 drag chains for my X and Y axis. The Good:The thing they have going for them is price. These were some of the cheapest I could find anywhere with one day shipping for me. So I gambled and picked them up. They basically worked and gave me what I needed without having to buy anything else. Close to the dirt cheap AliExpress prices but with the way faster shipping and better customer service of 'Shipped by Amazon'.The Bad:When pulling cables through a bent portion of track, the covers will pop off as the cables push against them in the bend. But at the same time they seem to be hard to get off some times when you want them too. As long as you push the wire from one end and pull from other at the same time it seems to work fine. While it appears that they should be able to hold themselves up they felt a little fragile and I decided to install rails for them to sit on. I highly recommend doing this but in theory they may hold themselves up. Each cover has 15X30 stamped on them. They were not all going the same direction. If you have OCD, be warned. I eventually gave up and stopped trying to fix them all.The Ugly:One segment arrived with one of the teeth, that holds the cover on, broken. During the install process, three more broke while snapping the cover back on. The material feels rather brittle. Likely becasue it needs a certain stiffness and very flexible material would not work. I didn't need every segment so no attempt was made to return them. I just shortened my segments and kept on rolling.Summary:While the 15X30 holds all of my cables, if I decided to add a water cooled spindle or laser to my Z-Axis then the channel is likely not large enough. I will likely replace these with a larger 18X50 one in the future. One that also is hinged on one side of each cover and doesn't use teeth that can break with repeated use. But for the prices these were acceptable and worked for my install. I do not regret this purchase.

Really good drag chains
Really good drag chains, that can be opened on one side making it really easy to install/replace cables or use cables with large plugs already installed.
