The boots are very well made of quality materials. I like the look. The left one fits very well while the right one is pretty snug across widest part of my foot. If I send them back for an 8.5 the left one would be too wide and both would be just a little too long. The first thing I will try is stuffing the right one very snugly with a warmed and lightly dampened towel and leave it over night. I know it would eventually stretch by wearing them, but I don't want to endure the discomfort.These are casual boots and not for serious walking or hiking. They are light weight and fairly flexible. With the crepe sole and foam insole they are pretty comfortable for walking and standing. They have a medium arch support. Based on my initial impression I would buy them again.I think I'll consider the BluPrint brand again next time I'm shopping for casual shoes or boots. Given the price, they are a impressive value.Update: The stretching of the right boot was successful. The next day it felt noticeably better and each day it get better yet.

I wanted so badly to love these shoes! They are beautiful and the leather is so soft!. They even feel comfortable when wearing them. the problem is that they seem to lack support in the arch area and that lack of support ends up hurting my foot and my ankle. I will be sending them back. I hope that others enjoy these boots as much as I wanted to.....

The shoes were a gift. The person I gave them to said that they were snug and that they just fit. I would suggest that upon purchasing these to get a size larger or find out the width of the shoe ahead of time. Other than that they were attractive, well made and came to my door quickly.

They seem to tilt inward and make me feel like I'm walking funny, but they are really nice looking and I only wear occasionally so it works

Really comfortable and high quality material. Takes a little getting used to, feels like I'm wearing slippers.

Just a flat out perfect Chukka Boot if you ask me, very comfortable right out the box. Soft leather, will break in nicely. Excellent design.
