SLYDE Wedge Body Surfing handboard/Handplane with Embedded Camera Attachment, Leash Plug and Adjustable handstrap

I purchased the SLYDE "Carbon Dipped" Wedge Body Surfing Handboard. This product looks very solid and well made right out of the box but I refrained from reviewing because I bought this after the summer season so no opportunity to try it out. I waited until this summer to give it several go before writing. This works as advertised. It's fun and my son loved it more than the bodyboard. Although, he still uses both. The first time out it didn't go so well because it takes a little time to get use to how it works. You can't rest your body on it like a surf board or boogie board, but you can use it a little like a floater while waiting for the waves - it isn't easy but doable. Once you get use to floating with it, the rest is fairly easy. Although, a few trial and error will happen along with some wipe outs.Still it's fun and so much easier to carry around than a surf or body board.

Very cool. I sent this to my son-in-law, an avid surfer. He is stoked! I was surprised how much he uses it, it seems like he his using this more than his surf board these days. Go figure...

This 'board' is really fun! I've only used it a few times, but it is much easier to manage than a boogie board in bigger surf and way fun get the benefits of getting on an edge down the face of the wave.

Been surfing and body surfing for years in cape may New Jersey and this made everything that much more bettah. I'd recommend anyone trying to take body surfing seriously or just want to get a few good barrels to get one. I also purchased the Bula and that was great in bigger swell with steep drops. A+ product

I've only used it once and conditions weren't great but definitely seems to do as advertised.

It is one of the coolest toys I have ever bought !!!the workmanship in it is amazing and it's so fun to ride waves with,people come up to you on the beach and always want to know where you got it. Customer service is amazing thank you Angela

Used this at Swami's in So Cal -last weekend . Strongly suggest fins' to make the most of this excellent handboard though ..especially in rough/choppy water.
