I love these compostable garbage bags! Thy fit my garbage organizer with 3 sections. They’re sturdy enough so they don’t tear or break when you take out the trash and they are good for the environment. I’m on my fifth box

Finally! Large sized trash bags that are compostable. They even come in a nifty box that lets you grab one at a time with MANY bags inside. I was surprised with how many bags compact into the small box. They re exactly what I was looking for. I will admit, they seem to tear around the edges and are not the "strongest" bags. But I was looking for compostable, so they serve their purpose for me.

I'm really happy with these trash bags. They are quite durable. Much better than the last biodegradable ones I tried.

Bags DO NOT fit my 13 gallon tall kitchen can. I have to stretch them, and because they are thinner (biodegradable) material, they tend to tear during stretching. No way they fit a 15 gallon can. Slightly larger size and a flap tie would be an improvement. These are unscented.

We have been using these bags for quite a while now. They hold up well to our garbage. We do compost our food wastes.

I use these for the litter box waste scooped out. Perfect size and even though they feel thin, they’ve yet to break on any of the sharp edges. I only have 1 cat, if you have more or scoop less often than once a day, they may be too small

So I decided to empty and use my compost after more than a year. I have a black rotary composter that is in the sun several hours a day, and I am in zone 8a- so the composter gets heated up pretty well (and again has gone through a full hot summer and then some). Upon emptying it I noticed the compost bags were largely intact and seemed sturdy. I then proceeded to manually sift and empty any bags I found... There were a lot. See the pictures showing some of the bags in the compost bags in the compost, and the pile of emptied compost bags. Maybe these break down in an industrial compost environment, but it seemed none of them decomposed in a home composter. On the plus side, since they don't break down, these bags do not get weepy when collecting compost over a few days in the house...*Edit* - the description for this does say these bags are designed to be compostable in a municipal industrial composter with controlled conditions. So maybe my disappointment is my own fault for not reading (assuming the description was the same back when I initially purchased a year ago).

This product meets my criteria for a small waste bag that is compost-friendly. I'm ok with paying a little more for this feature.

These did not compost after several weeks. They are strong though.
