Best option I've found
My 13 year old pug is starting to experience fecal incontinence. I've tried the poochpads, wee wee disposable diapers, and baby diapers. None work as well as the snuggease. The poochpads just fell right off of him, and the tail hole was way too big. His curly tail would work it's way out of the opening in no time because the hole was too big. This also meant that any fecal matter could work it's way out of the hole...not a good thing. The wee wee diapers work pretty good, but again, the tail opening was way too big. Plus, they are really expensive for a disposable. The baby diapers were tough to figure out the right size, and if I didn't get the position of the tail hole just right, I would have wasted a lot of $$. The snuggease proved to be the answer to our problem...I just wish I had tried them first! The best part of the snuggease is the cinch-able portion of the tail opening. This allows for a tight, custom fit around his tail and practically eliminates the chance of his tail causing the diaper to fall off. It also eliminates the possibility of any fecal matter from escaping. The snuggease are washable, and having a set of two is very convenient just in case one is in the wash, I always have a backup. The snuggease, as with any doggie diaper, can potentially fall off your dog due to their slippery fur. Also, there is a lot of extra material in the seat area of the snuggease, which makes them too bulky for my dogs behind area. This extra material might be good for another breed, but for the pugs, it causes a droopy, saggy butt! So, I've simply safety pinned some of the excess material up on the topside to elimanate about 1 1/2 inches of extra fabric. Then, to make extra sure they stay on through the night, I put him in a baby onesie. It keeps the diapers from falling off and ensures he's comfy and secure in case of accidents. My pug is 20 pounds and he fits in a 12 month Carter's onesie. I purchased the medium snuggease and it's the right fit. I hope this review helps the next pug owner find a good solution for your baby. I recommend you give the snuggease a try!

Absolutely Amazing
I ordered these when my elderly pug became fecal incontinent and I tried several other options before finding success with these diapers. It turned out to be very difficult to find a diaper for fecal incontinence. All other options I tried had huge tail holes which led to the little poops popping out the back of the diapers. Needless to say, not good, especially overnight. These diapers answer that problem by having a drawstring closure around the tail hole. It is very easy to close the hole just enough for a tail to come out but not any poops. The other major problem I encountered was not necessarily answered by this product alone, but came with the assistance of another. As you may or may not know, pugs are not exactly trim and do not really have waists. It was impossible to keep these suckers on by themselves. They just slipped right off. That problem was solved with the help of some sta-on doggie suspenders. Paired with the hardcore velcro on these diapers, they worked just fine. That brings me to the only word of warning I have to offer about the diapers. When you wash them, double- and triple-check that you have the tabs folded over to cover the velcro or they will come out stuck to everything. The strong velcro is a positive but with great power comes responsibility.Update: I still believe believe this is a great product, however I have found one that works better for me. The EZ Whelp diapers are the same concept but fit my dog better. They accommodate her larger waist without making the panty bigger. In addition, do you remember the Velcro I mentioned? It ended up being a challenge for us. Because the hook part was all along the waistband and the part that catches was on the tabs (which did not cover the entire waistband) she frequently got stuck on the blanket when she called under the covers.

Works for us!
Updating my review: only had the diapers for 2 months and they're already falling apart. Sides are fraying. Very disappointing. So far so good! My dog is almost 15 and started having accidents. Ever since we put the diaper on him he hasn't had an accident since. Almost like it deters him from going. He hasn't pooped in it yet and doesnt mind wearing it. He only wears it at night and while I'm at work.
