Easy to install & works great
This battery had brought back my Turtle Beach Elite 800x headset from the dead. The headset is ~5-6 years old. The original battery was lasting about 2-3 hours on a full charge. I replaced the original battery with this one and the battery life is excellent. I use the headset for music, noise cancelling (relaxation), and conference calls for work (pandemic wfh).Installation took about 15 minutes. One of the earlier reviewers posted excellent directions. You'll need a small Philips head screwdriver, a flat head screw driver to GENTLY pry the old battery out as it's secured with double-sided foam tape, and your own double-sided foam tape to secure the new battery. There are a total of 7 screws to carefully remove and not lose. Be very careful to not break any of the small gauge wiring and soldering. That is the one danger. Other than that, it's a plug and play replacement. I'm loving my TB Elite 800x again and highly recommend this if you’re seeing a decline in battery performance for your Turtle Beach Elite 800X.

Great, cheap fix for an old headset.
My Elite 800 have seen better days. I was lucky if I got an hour of battery life anymore. I can't tell you how long this battery lasts since it hasn't run out on me since replacing. It takes a little patience to replace but it isn't difficult. Some online instructions call for soldering but it isn't necessary. There is a youtube instructional on how to do it without.

Correct connector - Elite 800x Turtle Beach
Proper connector for battery replacement (Turtle Beach Elite 800x). Dimensions of batter a bit different than oem, but it fits, closes, and functions well. So far, 5 stars. Just installed, we'll see about longevity! You'll want to buy some double sided adhesive strips to hold battery in place (I used double sided garment tape, it worked well enough, oem is a bit thicker, white, clay looking adhesive that you wont be able to remove from origonal battery).Once the headset enclosure is reassembled, all good as far as tightness, no rattles etc.

Installed on Elite 800X (tight Fit). Battery life about 8-10 hours
Noticed the battery in my headset after 3 years of heavy usage (8 hours run time a day) was only lasting 2-3 hours at most. To anyone who is thinking of replacing the battery in this headset its relatively simple, and does not require any soldering. Just be mindful that the wires for the microphone are low gauge and very delicate. Also the battery, by comparison to the original, is longer and slightly thinner so it just barely fits. Having said that, do not force the circuit board to fit in place. These are the tools you'll need: roughly PH000 sized phillips head screwdriver bits, small needlenose or channel locks, double-sided foam tape, and a plastic or wooden pry tool.

Finally the right battery
Had trouble trying to find the right size battery to replace old battery in my Turtlebeach Elite 800 headset. Since Turtlebeach doesn’t offer any parts for this discontinued headset, you must find aftermarket parts yourself. Watched a few videos on YouTube on how to replace old battery with new battery ( included disassembling and soldering new battery connectors to old ) finally found video which included link to correct battery replacement ( no soldering) from Amazon. Thankfully the new battery came , I disassembled headset, took out old battery (old battery glued down) used small plastic pry tool to get old battery out, plugged in new battery, reassembled. Headset is working and holds a charge up to 8 hours so far, maybe longer. But the main point is this battery fits (no soldering) and headset works perfectly. But do watch YouTube video(TECHNOBABBLE) this makes disassembling much easier. Also includes Amazon link for correct battery.

A cheap solution over buying a new headset
I've used my Turtle Beach Elite headset with the X1X for about 3 years now and they've served me well. Not long ago I noticed a huge drop in battery life. It went from an easy 5-6+ hours down to less than 2 before dying. After considering my options of buying a new headset I decided nothing quite compared to what I already have & am used to. So I went to YouTube to learn all I needed to make the swap. It's been about a month now and the new battery is performing great. My only gripe is even though I was being very careful during the swap I must have messed up a wire inside the headset that goes to the charging cradle connections. It's my own fault and not the battery to blame. I can only charge it through the microUSB port on the headset now. Not as convenient as tossing them on the charging dock but it still works fine for me. All in all I'm happy I can keep using my headset and I prolonged the life of a $200+ accessory.

No soldering for earforce
Like other reviews there was no soldering required which made install take less than 10 minutes. You will need small size screw drivers and a steady hand. Mine didn't come with double-sided tape, so I peeled the tape off the old battery and reused it. Careful with the wires on the circuit board as the boards are cheaply made with thin wires and solder.

Easy swap. You'll need a pair of tweasers and a small screwdriver. Remove the earmuffs from the headset to expose 4 screws underneath . Be careful when removing the plastic piece since the speaker is in it and you don't want to pull the wire out. Once pulled apart use the tweasers to lift up the tape and it should give you some more speaker wire. So you can lay it to the side . Now there are 2 more screws in between the aux jack and chat volume . Remove those . Now push the aux jack in just a bit till it pops out of the plastic housing. Now you should be able to lift and pry the board out from the opposite side. Just be careful not to flex the board or pry to hard. Once up , flip the board and remove the old battery and unplug connector. I removed some of the double sided tape and stuck it to the back of the new battery. Because of the size when your putting it back together just lay the battery into the housing then put your board in place. the tape should stick wherever it touches. Now just reassemble the way you took it apart.

HyperX Cloud Core
