2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road
Worth every penny, gave me 2.5 inchs of lift in the front with 2 ome rings on driver side to compensate for the taco lean. I have a brush guard so I may have gotten more lift if I didn’t have the guard. These springs are mounted on the OME soft valve struts and my truck rides great with OME rear springs in the back as well!

Great! Highly recommend
Worked perfect holding my 180lb bumper up and lifting about 2"

Not the quality OME is known for.
Not the quality OME is known for. I bought a pair of 2886 coils from a different seller and driver side sagged 1.25inches. No response from ARB or Old Man Emu on warranty, I ended up buying second set $$ to fix the issue. Great seller with fast shipping. Not their fault the product is of poor quality. They were a great company 20 years ago....too bad. Will use a different brand for the new 4Runner.

Do not buy. Incorrectly labeled product.
These springs are labeled as being 886x or 2886 but are not. They are obviously progressive rear springs and not even close to the 886/2886

More spring rate than necessary
I put these on a 2021 Tacoma TRD OR crew cab long bed, with an ARB bumper (180 lbs), Warn winch (80 lbs - wire rope), and Leer topper (200 lbs?). With all the stuff, the truck probably gained around 500 lbs more than when it left the factory. Because I put a heavy bumper, even by steel plate bumper standards, and a winch on it, I went with the 886 coils. Months later, it still rides pretty rough, like driving a 1 ton pickup. It's fine, I don't really want to replace the coils or redo the alignment... but I wouldn't buy these coils again. I drive a Tacoma, not a dump truck. The medium spring rate coils would have been sufficient for my needs. "It's a truck" right? Yeah, well I've driven trucks since 1999, including two other Tacomas and a 4runner which were all lifted with springs and this one does not ride well.
