Quick delivery and price
Ordered this reel for my son as a Christmas gift. He liked it and couldn't wait to try it and tried it couple of days. later caught a bonefish with no problem. He said the reel felt real solid and smooth. Now he can't wait to catch Jacks in the 30+ lbs using this reel. I notice this reel also is much lighter in weight then my Penn reel. Good fishing

Smooth action.
Very smooth action. Tapered spoll, casts very nicely. 2 wishes.1 wish it came with a second, smaller capacity spoll.2 wish the crank folded in better, for storage.Otherwise nice real for the price.

You get what you pay for!
Cheaply made product, first cast the line got snagged applied a little pressure to put tension on the line to break it off and the reel started making popping noises internally. Returned and spent the extra money to get a Penn reel.

Seems cheap
This thing is light plastic, handle is small, handle arm will likely break on a good fight. Mostly fake carbon plastic pieces. I find it hard to believe it has a 70lb drag. Seems way cheaper than my Penn Fierce 8000 which also weighs significantly more than this. Lighter is sometimes better but you can definitely tell the Penn is the better reel, and the Penn is only $10 more. Returning it after the first use.

Great Drag
Used for sturgeon in Idaho and love it. Best drag of any spinning reel I've tried yet. Keep the dirt out of it and you will be good to go. Landed 3 fish over 200 lbs first time out with it! Just bought a second for my other pole.

Nice reel and strong. Paired it with some 400lb braid.
Drag capability is perfect! Snapped my Pole in half but the 14000 reel still brought it to the surface!

Works great for the surf.
Great reel, nephew uses this all the time for surf fishing. Takes a saltwater beating and keeps going. ( be sure to rinse off sand and salt )
