The junior version contained questions such as "Do you smoke?" "Have you ever tasted alcohol?" "What is you favorite cuss word?" Sure these were among lots of great questions but these questions are not appropriate for elementary age children. Other questions were also disturbing as a mom raising Christian girls with a positive self image. Questions like "what physical trait do you want to change about yourself" opens the door for self image issues." Questions have lots of focus on reincarnation "What animal do you want to be reincarnated as?" "Who do you think you were in another life?" "Do you believe in reincarnation?" Bottom line not the discussions I want to have at my dinner table (where I had planned to use these) and certainly not what I want my kids discussing with their friends!I did look at the classic version as well. Website suggests ages 14+. It should be adults only as an entire category focuses on sex, objectifying the opposite gender and materialism.Very disappointed. Glad a read the questions before giving it to my kids! This item has been returned.

Super fun to play as a family.

On the upside, this was delivered fast but, other than that, this was a complete FAIL for me. For one, the card stock is flimsy. In reading the questions in the adult version I found they were trite...really lame, actually...I got this with the intent to bring to a Meetup Game group. This would've fallen flat on its face and create more awkwardness than alleviate it.

Please keep reading!I played the Jr. Version with my 8 and 13 year old. The questions were easy enough to read and comprehend that they didn’t need my help at all. That’s such a bonus for me because it means they can play it with their friends without needing my guidance, or feeling embarrassed sounding out the cards.I did think the colors of the dice didn’t line up well with the color of the cards, but we just used the “key” in the directions and had no problems. I am taking off one star point though, because I wish the colors matched up better.The rules state that if you want to, rather than picking a favorite answer and awarding a gem stone, you can role a die and the person with the highest number gets the stone. The die is included, and I thought that was a great addition to the game because my children have very different pubic speaking skills, and definitely play favorites!In the adult version I was really impressed with the range of questions and their depth. Some were ice breakers which would be great conversation starters any time, not just while playing the game. Others were a little deeper or thought provoking, which I liked too, depending on where it’s being played or who it’s being played with.The tins are a nice quality that doesn’t dent up easily, the cards are nice and thick, and the gem stones weren’t fake and cheesy at all.Overall I’m super impressed with this game and will be purchasing it again to give as gifts to my nieces and for my birthday parties that my children are invited to.If this was helpful, please vote it so, and check my other reviews for more fun games and things we’ve purchased lately!

Everyone has to answer it, and then the person who asked the question chooses the answer they liked best and gives that person a "bit" - a pretty, polished rock. You could also have some fun by using candy or coins instead of rocks as the bits.I was curious as to what the difference would be between Classic and Jr. in this, thinking from the description and instructions that the "Jr" game would have particularly childish questions. When I looked through the questions, though, I found that the "Classic" game had more questions about significant others and jobs, while the "Jr." game had questions that would actually be fun for kids or adults, like "What superpower would you want" and "What's your favourite musical album" among others.

I love this set of games! I bought it because I was able to receive the product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review, and I am so glad I did. I thought it looked interesting, but once I received it I was so excited. This includes two sets of games - one for younger kids (the JR version) and one for adults. The gist is that you choose and answer questions on a card, and the person with the best response would earn one of the polished stones that are included. The one with the most at the end, wins. It is a simple concept, but the questions are wonderful. For the adults, this is the perfect game for holidays, family get togethers, or a work event "ice-breaker". For kids, the possibilities are endless! As a school counselor, I am going to use this as an ice-breaker for kids or for the first "getting to know you" group session. Highly recommend!

I am always looking for new and fun games to play around the holidays. This is perfect because it comes with a jr. set and an adult set so everyone can enjoy playing. It is small so it is easy for me to carry in my purse if I want to take it to someones home This is a fun thing to play with your children to get the talking in public. We aren't much of a game playing family but I thought that this sounded like something we would enjoy. The idea of the game is great but when you have one kid who likes to talk and the other not so much, it becomes one sided.
