My girls and I are allergic to petroleum-derived food additives like artificial colors and flavors, which rules out most marshmallow products for us, since they all contain fake blue coloring to make them look whiter and/or artificial vanilla flavoring. These are the only mini crunchy marshmallows I've found without these artificial ingredients! I add them to Cheerios to make my own dye-free gluten-free version of Lucky Charms!Note that you may want to store them in a zip-close baggie and expel all the excess air after opening, as they do soften over time with exposure to the air in the container.

I've tried a variety of dehydrated marshmallows and have found these to be top quality with a smooth vanilla taste. --- Perfect for hot chocolate (we all know the powdered mixes never have enough! :) )or snagging a handful to satisfy that afternoon sweet tooth.There is a however a catch ----- If, like me, based on product description and title "Hot Cocoa Mix with Marshmallows", you are expecting to to receive gourmet chocolate mix along with the marshmallows, disappointment is not far away.The gourmet price is for a plastic container of marshmallows. We must provide our own gourmet coca. Though as mentioned I've found them to be the best I won't make a second purchase because it's hard to justify the expense.
