Seems to be pretty accurate even when taking multiple measures back to back. Even though its made of glass it seems to be very sturdy. Make sure you have it on a hard flat surface when weighing or it'll through off he measurement. And as my husband found out the hard way, don't step on it directly out of the shower or you'll feel the little electrical pulses it uses to measure your BMI and such.

Returning after 1 day. Buttons did not work/function properly. Display screen was stuck on same view. "Step on" feature is not accurate because you have to tap it to activate it then you get on. Poor instruction booklet with not enough troubleshooting help. I will not be buying this product again. Better products are out there and for less.

This scale is perfect for us to record our weight loss, hydration level, etc. The booklet does read that metal implants in the feet will cause error messages and it is true. I can see my weight but nothing else. I have already recommended this scale to friends that are on weight loss plans and they love it as well.

I could not set the additional features. As an example, Changing from am to pm did not operate. I would not recommend this brand scale to anyone

I hoped this would work to measure BF% and it turned out that it does. Measures weight pretty well also. Good scale Overall!

I bought this scale when it came up on sale last month. At first I was excited to get the different measurements like hydration, body fat, etc. but continued use has shown that the weight feature is not consistent. Nearly every day I can step on the scale three different times in a row and get three different weight measurements, with variance up to four pounds. Not cool. I honestly cannot recommend this scale. I would return it and get my money back, but since I don't have the box anymore it would be $15 worth of pain in my butt.

I bought a Tanita BC-1000 scale a year ago because it would send the signal directly to my Garmin watch, which I thought would be cool, and it was initially, but the scale stopped working after only a few months, was not covered under warranty and I was left frustrated with an expensive scale and no more body fat percentage readings to motivate me. This scale was very simple to setup out of the box, appears to be repeatable from a statistical standpoint, easy to use with up to 10 user profiles, and far less expensive than the other scale I had, so even if this one doesn't last several years (I hope it will), it could be replaced if needed and still be worth it. Very impressed with the VALUE of this scale, giving me readings for Body Weight, Body Fat %, Hyrdation %, Muscle %, Bone Weight (kg), BMI, and kcal suggested for daily intake in very short order.I'm not so concerned about the actual accuracy of the measurements as much as having something I can use to monitor trends over time as a feedback to my own lifestyle choices... so if you have the need for a scientifically accurate number, I can't say how this will work for you, but suspect for most people, just having this data and a trend over time would be very helpful.

Received this as a gift. Cannot get the body fat and other features to work. Directions sketchy and no contact information for support.
