Hard as hell to find these...... but:
Fits as expected. Very waterproof(to within just over an inch from the top, even after thousands of miles). Very protective. Excellent tarcel protection. Durability is turned up to '11'. Will last through 3 shoelace sets, so get Kevlar laces. Light for what they are. Walk through Caustic Soda, Lime, Caustic Potash, oil & diesel like you just don' care, EVERY DAY! **Note: Do not wear near MRI machines. The Rubber is industrial, the Leather is thick, so it's going to take some time to break them in. Loosen that tarcel-Zipper panel a lot and mist it with water, because if you have really high arches like me, it will hurt at first, but I've found out that is on any shoe that has this much protection, which even in the patch, is hard to find. Impossible to find if you need quick-on/off zippers that are lace-adjustable.This is my 4th pair over 8 years. Having put these on Tens-of-THOUSANDS of times, make sure to put 2 layers of Gorilla Tape from heel to calf, and one down the center of that. It will be easily replaceable when it wears out instead of the lining of the shoe. With that said, I'll be the one standing in Caustic materials while my $400.00 Ariat buddies hop around with burning socks, even after a year and 9 months.... and buddy, I move. SHTF ready? Yes. ++++Accessories needed: Pressure-Washer; Olive-Oil, Beeswax;

NOT WATERPROOF
Loved the zippers for fast donning on and Off!Very, very, comfortable!Sadly, the heel strike wears down way too quickly. And these are not waterproof. I have had three pair. I now own four in last four and half years. Two for work. One to wear out to town and one in storage for future! If they were waterproof and heel didn’t wear down so quickly I’d say these were perfect.

Not worth a penny!!!
Tried 2 pairs. Will not try a 3rd. Both had the same issue. Both pairs disintegrated within a couple of months. Chemical resistant? Who knows. The leather and soles were fine. The rubber around the foot just melts away for no reason. 1st pair was on right foot only. 2nd pair was both feet. Starts as what looks like dry rot then when you rub it with a finger it quickly becomes a hole. I will never buy from this boot manufacturer again. They are very comfortable boots and look great but don't hold up to actual use. I drive a truck and sometimes work in bad weather. A waterproof boot is essential. This ain't it! Extremely disappointed.

Do not buy didnt even make it to 2 month
I've had these boots for a little over a month and a half. Stepped though a puddle today and realized both boots were ripped. All I do all day is walk around not even actually working and they could even last 2 month and it to late to return them so now I'm screwed and will have to buy another pair of work shoes, I'd expect my work shoes to last me at least 6 months when I'm actually out on the construction site so these should of lasted me even long since all I do is walk around now. Will never buy oliver shoes again

One flaw in the design
I have other styles of boot from this manufacturer & i truly find them to be worthy of the rating that i've given this particular style,i just have one issue with the way this particular style happens to butterfly (open) above the instep after prolonged wear.this should not deter a craftsman from purchasing the boot but i thought this issue should be noted,other than that i find this series to be excellent in every other way...

These are some tough boots.
Right out of the box the boots look tough. They are the coolest boots ive owned. You really can see the craftsmanship and quality. Ive owed boots from walmart and redwing and everything in beetween. These oliver boots fit really well,they are comfortable. I work on heavy equipment. I deal with gas, diesel, hyd oil and many other chemicals. We'll see how they do.

Four Stars
Fit as expected and so far so good, I came after more than one year to place my new comment about this product, and I really feel bad because I thought this the best boots I gone have it, is gonna be for so long for all my live, and nothing can beat it, but I realize another thing, I bought this product in November 2016 and I work in the oil industry, as we know time to time we need to walk in a wet surface and my surprise the boots have a leak, I mean some how is getting wet inside and this isn't all, I just walked in a few millimeters of water, less than a 1/4" inch just for few steps maybe 3 or 4 steps in the water, and my socks get wet, then I took a time to think, how this is happened? with all feature of this boots but how? I tried to contact the seller without successful, this message is not a complaining, is to let they know something really is wrong in the product, I like the product so bad, but with this issue is so bad, I hoop this message get to the owner of the brand, and they shall try to improve it, no reason to have a leak at this point, and this happened to both boots.

I ended up getting a size bigger than needed but still comfortable.
The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the sizes are listed by country of origin and not American. I ended up getting a size bigger than needed but still comfortable.
