Removes plaque in seconds when a Sonicare toothbrush wouldn't. Very Surprised.
Great product!!! For the results, the price is amazing! ... I use a sonicare toothbrush every day and I have a couple problem areas where stains develop... I will hold the toothbrush there forever and they dont come off. I also use listerine every day and brush the listerine into the stains. No luck.... I am not kidding... This thing cleaned those areas ON CONTACT... Like 2 seconds... I read reviews ahead of time and took the advice of someone who said they were a dentist. I am glad that I didn't listen to the negative reviews... Some of them are scary and say you can damage your teeth if you hold it too long. The cups at the end are made up of really soft rubbery material that bends and flexes when it touches your tooth.. so the edge of the cup can actually clean the area right in between two teeth to an extent.. Not like flossing but pretty close where the inside edges touch... I have a really small mouth, and I was still able to get it to my very back tooth and once again it cleaned on contact.. it was not easy to get it back there.... it was hard to prevent it from touching my lip because my mouth is so small... but with some effort I did it.. it took a couple minutes to get the technique down. I imagine if you have a wider mouth it would be easy.. It depends on what you are using it for and the size of your mouth. I am not speaking on its whitening ability, because I just used it for the first time before I wrote this.. but it took off stuff in seconds that my $80 toothbrush won't budge. So I am actually amazed.. I think that maybe people who gave it negative reviews are trying to actually whiten their teeth and maybe it doesn't work great for that, I don't know yet... but as far as plaque removal and stains it was great... I mean, I use a metal scraping tool on those areas and it would take forever and be very difficult. This thing does it in a second! Not exaggerating. I think for whitening, maybe just use 50/50 water and hydrogen peroxide as a rinse on your teeth before you brush...

PLEASE do not use on pets!!!!!!!
My biggest fear with this product is that it is being purchased to use on pets and they can not tell you it is getting hot and causing pain. They may jerk away and the owner think they don't like having their teeth brushed, but instead it will be burning the poor things! :(I was really excited to get this product to remove the coffee/tea stains from my teeth. I read the instructions and did what it said. I put toothpaste in and on the cap and held it on a tooth to start. I complied with the directions: "Polish each area for a few seconds" Oh good Lord, by the count of two if that long my tooth felt like it was on fire. It got so hot it hurt all the way to the root of the tooth. This is a HEALTHY front tooth. I have no periodontal disease or anything, just stains. I thought it was me applying too much pressure. So, a few hours later after getting over the fear of possible pain, I tried again. This time I applied less pressure. I am not a mechanical person at all, but it seemed to me the less pressure you apply I the faster it spins and the HOTTER IT GETS!! Using it just bumping the on/off switch against each tooth along the bottom row (wasn't going to touch my poor top tooth again) and each tooth was HOT, by BUMPING it, not running it for a full second or two on each tooth. Third try was on an area where two teeth are crooked on each other so stains get in the curve. I bumped, waited for the heat to subside, bumped again, this went on for about ten bumps. I could tell absolutely no difference on the stain whatsoever. The reviews that state that they are great and are removing stains must have much worse stains than I am trying to remove. The "cups" are noted "will last up to 100 tooth polishings" each. That is not true in my case. I have tried mine three (3) times and the rubber is flying off in small pieces. I would never noticed, but I am using a 20x mirror to do this and can see tiny pieces coming off. Hopefully that may be a defective cup. I would like to think that the machine I received is defective, but after reading the reviews I don't think it is. I rarely purchase anything without reading the reviews first, but this was an inexpensive item and it really looked harmless so I never even scrolled through the reviews. My mistake. From now on I will read the reviews on every single item I purchase on Amazon.

Would be great if...
Everything arrived as ordered and not damaged in any way. Instructions on back of polishing tool package were easy to understand except for it saying batteries were included which they were not. That is fine as advertising on Amazon said the batteries were not included. I think the problems I have are more with the usage of the polishing tool and the polishing "paste."The rubber polishing cup keeps popping off the polishing tool spitting polishing agent all over the sink and leaves you looking for where it might have gone if not in the sink. The first time I used this product, the rubber polishing cup popped off at least 10 times. I finally realized that after you polish each tooth, stop the tool, move the cup to the next tooth and start again. Not as simple as it sounds. The other comment is the polishing "paste" is more like the consistency of hard wax. When you try to push the rubber cup into the "paste," it pops the cup off its base since it is so hard. I had to get a fork and chop it up in the little cup first in order to get the stuff into the polishing cup. Thinking it might just be better to put some of that "paste" on my regular toothbrush and polish my teeth that way.Was really hoping this would be the great product I wanted it to be. It's not a complete waste, just not all it's described to be.

Coffee and Tea stains on my front teeth! Yikes!!
I never use to have stains on my teeth until I started drinking coffee and black tea. I took a look in the mirror just recently and noticed the stains! I was embarrassed when I saw them. It has been over six months since I've seen my dentist for a cleaning/check-up. I quickly order this polisher because I used to have one several years ago and loved it. Well, luckily the new polisher worked just as good. After wetting the tip and applying a small dab of toothpaste and power on the polisher, it removed the stains. The only issue I was having with this one is the tip was slipping off. I never use to have this issue. Overall the price is reasonable, and it did the job of removing the stains on my front teeth.
