This product is great to cover grays in between hair appointments .

Being a retired hairdresser, for me, this did not work as well as I felt I needed. Nice package, on time, nice email to me, but, the powder went on dry or wet, it was a medium brown, and for me, white scalp not everyone has that, a lot have pink healthy scalp. This product went on more pink than brown. I think a spray may be better for what I need. It did not cover what I needed. Maybe since I got the only color they had, I could have used a darker, but too dark would not work so do not know what is next. I felt medium brown would work. I color my hair, it is a reddish brown, but not a lot of red. So I will be looking to see what other products this seller has. Women who have hair loss need cover up, and it is a big business now. I will continue to work with it until I find something else. The kind with stands of fake hair, are just not good. Hard to get out of the hair. Thanks.

I love this product. I use the dark brown in my part/"upper regions" of my hair and the light brown in the bare areas above my temples so that the transition from my skin, which is very fair, to my hair is not so harsh. My hair is actually medium brown, but I found the medium brown to be a little too warm on me. I think a cooler color, even if it's a little bit darker than my natural hair produces a much more natural look. Besides, roots should be a little bit darker than the rest of your hair. I have medium to even light blond highlights throughout my hair (especially) towards the end, and the dark brown still works beautifully. Not only does this cover my scalp, thereby making my hair look fuller, it actually gives a little "grip" and texture if you bring it slightly into the roots of your hair. I actually apply it with a small cotton ball so that I know I am always using a clean manner of applying the product. This stuff is fantastic, really well-priced, and the seller sent me a few emails with application tips. This product can be used wet or dry, but dry works for me.

I am an African American woman who wears her cut short and natural. The hair on my crown is thinning, though not quite bald, yet. I have been either wearing my hair as is or using hair fibers to try and mask the thinning spots.I saw this product and decided to try it. I have posted pictures of before and after. I like the concept of using the applicator sponge because you have more control in applying the product. I ordered black, because while my hair is not jet black, it is closer to black than dark brown. I felt like I needed to put quite a bit on to mask the thinning spots. I touched my hair, when I was done with the application, and some of the product was on my hand. Not a lot, but I wouldn't sleep without a cap or scarf, if I didn't wash my hair first. I think it masked most of the thinning area. Will try for a few more days. Losing my hair really saddens me. I'm considering cutting it all off or wearing a wig until I can figure out if I can grow it back. I gave this product a 4 because of the concept; not as messy as fibers and because I feel like it did make my thinning areas a little less noticeable. I paid full price for this product, so this is my honest review. I hope this helps someone else.

This is a great product. Coverage is perfect. Don’t even need to dab the applicator in water.

I don’t write reviews but I have to. Been struggling with fine thinning hair at crown and receding hairline. Got an undercut and let my top grow out a little. Love the cut but my crown shows scalp and kinda ruins it. Put this in the very first time, scalp completely hidden! Haven’t told anyone. Wife decides this is the day to mess around and braid my thin hair on top as a joke. She be ver even knew I had done anything!!!!! That is amazing. Didn’t come out till I shampooed just like they say.

I didn't like it . It's probably ok for a tiny area touch up. Would not recommend it. In my case just a waste.
