Needs additional work to be a great product.
Works fine but has limitations and drawbacks. First of all, don't bother purchasing this item if you're not willing to run wires correctly through the ABC pillars. Also keep in mind that you'll probably need to drill a hole in your trunk to run a wire for the rear camera. After using this item for awhile, I've notice the following:The front camera is actually 720p but setting the recording quality to HD vs FHD doesn't actually save any space. There is no quality difference between either recording setting. The rear camera is unsurprisingly not 720p (likely 420tvl) and appears to be about a 90 degree viewing angle. The image is stretched to 1280x720 for recording purposes and there is no ability to change that. I'm in process of swapping the rear camera to a higher quality 170 degree wide angle as the included camera makes you look like running into something is imminent at 3 feet away. In summary, deceptive advertising is never appreciated.Once the SD card fills up, you'll need to delete all footage manually as it will not automatically record over old "SOS" footage. Go to the menu and format to accomplish this. Automatic recordings also only work for 1 minute at a time and have a couple second gap before resuming. That sucks for ill timed transitions where I'm trying to prove that I actually made a complete stop at a stop sign in court. On the upside, I'm happy with it's ability to start recording without worrying about whether I pushed the start button. You can upgrade the storage to a max of 32gb for a $10 micro sd card. All settings are easy to navigate and not overly complex. The screen quality is good and the brightness is pretty good considering the low cost of the entire unit. I really enjoy having a larger mirror that allows me to see the entire rear window from edge to edge. The strap system seems like a joke when you first look at it, but the mirror is secured quite well enough and I haven't noticed any additional vibration over the standard mirror.

Dual cameras
This is a nice enough unit, but some of the advanced features aren't so usable. I like the idea of a lane departure warning, but you need to be exactly in the center of the lane to keep the unit from setting off the warning. Constantly getting a dinging sound with a voice saying not to depart right (or left) lane line while still 2-3 feet from either line, so I turned off that function. The forward camera works fine, but when using the backup camera if you have any lights at all behind you (street lights, etc) the picture is completely washed out making it unusable. Also the supplied cable for the backup camera isn't long enough for a standard pickup truck. I had to splice on another 4 feet of wire to make a straight run from the rear bumper license plate area to the camera long enough. Would I buy another one for my other vehicle? Yes, but not for the backup camera function.**Update**This unit quit working after several months. Run, don't walk, away from this chinese made JUNK!!!

Great product.
Pros: Easy enough to install. Front camera is HD. Rear camera is clear as well. Good mic...can hear everything. Records well. Rear camera has LED lights. Cable wires are long enough. Wide sized mirror....can see blind side. Camera features are great!Cons: mirror is too large and it prevents the sun visors to move around or open entirely. It also is dimmed lightly. Good for high beams but bad at night. Objects look nearer on mirror.Overall: great product! I love it! Mirror takes some getting used to, but it's worth the purchase.

Worth the money (I've had it for a month now...)
3.5 stars/rounding up to 4 because of the nifty USB2 micro-sd card reader that was included. The front camera is top-notch and can pick up good details (even vehicle LP's if someone's passing too close). It can also see cars to the sides from where your hood starts to where your front doors begin. The front cam provides a full HD recording, but the back camera is a fuzzy 480p which can only pick up an LP if someone's dangerously close or in b2b traffic with you. If you hook up the rear cam wire to your backup light, it really helps like a stock backup cam does. I would have liked some more types of mounting hardware for the rear cam because its tiny and mounting it to huge LP (license plate) screws required some innovative thinking and a separate nut/bolt attachment solution to mount it properly. I must say that without the rear cam and given the added USB card reader, it would still be worth the money, so think of it as including a free rear camera. The rear cam wire was about 3 feet too short to comfortably mount it to a SUV, so I did something you shouldn't do: spliced it and added some more 4-wire line ; don't expect it to work the same if you void the warranty this way! One other thing I should mention is that the rear cam ended up seeing in the dark perfectly with the help of my regular vehicle backup lights...but the front wasn't much help at night. Overall, this product is a descently good deal if it can keep working for me. Since it has a rechargeable battery that is rarely used, I would recommend discharging it every now and then by running it without external power until it drains, then putting it back into its regular work cycle. Even though it comes with a 16GB card, I purchased a 32GB HC1 card with it for about a 2.5 hour continuous loop recording on the highest quality settings ; you'll need it too!

I decided to buy this one and very satisfied with the clarity of the camera from the price
After looking over many cameras, I decided to buy this one and very satisfied with the clarity of the camera from the price. It also warns the driver of the car goes off the lane and if it comes too close to the car in front. As this is the mirror type, it blends in naturally as other onndashbtyoe needs to be taken off if parked in an unattended area. After getting one I decided to get another one right away for my second car. This product is a buy.

Bad product and service!!!
This unit I bought no longer works and it's still under warranty and No one is making any effort to fix or replace the camera. So much for product warranty. It only worked for two months and the battery started to fail and wouldn't hold charge. Don't bother buying this product unless you want to be disapointed and forget about customer service as well. Waste of my time and money for this product and seller.
