Lifesmart EZcool Duo Port Indoor/Outdoor Portable Air Cooler for 500 Sq Feet

I bought one and immediately it stopped misting so stupid me traded it in for another one thinks this was defective. I put it away very carefully for this summer and when I turned it on only one mister would work. I turned it on again and none work now! What a joke and they tell me it’s too late to return it!

WOW! Incredible! I live in California and its very popular here not to have air conditioning. My apartment is one of those with no air. It still gets hot during the day sometimes so unbearable I have to leave and go to stores just for the air conditioner. Well, I ordered one of these EZcool first from ebay. Well the savings didn't work out because the bottom blower was leaking and did not work. I had to return to the ebay seller because the leak would not be safe. But I knew if I could get one that works it would be amazing because the top blower was super cold. So I ordered from Amazon and this thing is beyond awesome!!! Perfect condition!!! It can bring down the temp in the apartment big time. Just a few minutes ago it was too hot inside to handle, so I started the EZcool and le voila!!! My apartment is cooler! I love this thing. It sprays a very fine cold mist and the built in blower fan spreads it around. The fans dry it so its not putting too much moisture. Mine is just right and there is a freshness about it. I also have a stand up fan by Ozeri that is on for circulation. The Ozeri works better than my Dyson fan in the heat. But a fan wont cool it down like the EZcool does. EZcool is cold mist. It reminds me when you go to Disney World and you walk by large cold mist sprayers at the Coke Pavillion. And it cools you off at a hot park. Well this will cool!! It is loud! So I run it an hour or two with filtered water and it cools off the place fast. Then I just use fans for afterwards. Thank you Lifesmart you saved me!!! Your product rocks! Yes it works!!!!!

Put this in my gazebo, if your setting within a few feet of it, it does provide some relief from the oppressive heat. However; in a very humid location such as where I live, putting more water in the air may not be the best idea.

Picture of folks far away is a bit of a stretch. I had to place it btw two people on patio to feel the cool. No maintenance needed is a plus.price id ok in comparison.

My dislike started when it took 2 weeks for this "cooler" to get here - on prime shipping!But worse: it does not cool.I live in AZ, we have 110 F heat. So it should be easy for a cooler to prove its capability. Thrilled that I finally got it, I filled it up, turned it on and set it next to a thermometer to measure my future coolness: none. In half an hour, the temperature changed by only 2 degrees, though the humidity went up 10%.It's supposed to cool 500 sqft, which it definitely does not do. Only if I sit right in front of it, a thin cool mist will reach me.At $50, I'd say it's a cute gadget, at $250-299 it was ridiculously overpriced for the little cooling it provided.I no longer have it, but got an AC instead.

I bought three of them, and one of them came defective, and another one stopped misting within two months. The rang is not anywhere close to 500 ft either. For a very small confined space or on your patio, they are ok, but since 2 out of 3 were duds, I cannot recommend this product.

i ordered two of these. The one this year doesn’t work I only used them for 3 months last year. Turned one on this June and it worked for one day now it quit. I tried everything but it didn’t work. I’m from Canada so we don’t need it very often

I ordered one of these and the top sprayer was inoperative. Returned it and the replacement had the same problem and leaked. Now all that being said, The bottom sprayer was working great and was very cool! Its a great idea. Just ashamed the design was flawed.
