Short lifespan, not worth it.
Purchased August 2016, a little more than 7 months. In that time, I've used each battery once prior to recharging. 2 batteries will not charge at all with one of them being swollen to the point where it will not fit in the laser sight it was purchased for. If left in the sight, they die very quickly which kind of defeats the purpose of having them at the ready. If needed, I have to grab my rifle, grab a battery, open the battery compartment, insert it and then screw on the cap before I can use the sight intended to be on my home defense AR. I am now once again on Amazon looking for an alternative to these...

GOOD CR2 CHARGER with TWO BATTERIES
PRO: Product was shipped promptly and received as promised. The battery charger when done, reverts to TRICKLE CHARGE which allows overnight charging without fear of damage to battery or charger (nor does owner have to waste time watching. Unit will pay for itself within 3-4 battery changes. Will keep a couple Veridian pure LITHIUM batteries, having ten year shelf life for emergency use and STOPS any worry for COST or so called concern for 'hard to find CR2 battery' which is NON issue for this reviewer.CON: NONE found. Unit is cheap plastic,, same for all regardless of cost. non issue Reason for one STAR deducted is standard procedure for this Reviewer for products where LONG Term usage is an unknown.NOTE: Having BOTH the inside 110v ac/dc charger AND the 12v cigarette/charging port plug for this charger is a real PLUS.. so depending on how many CR2 batteries are in use at one time; having an equal number in a charger which can trickle charge or at minimum keep a set of CR2's always available.. WHAT ELSE CAN YOU ASK FOR OR EXPECT?

I bought this package in Aug of 2016. I ...
I bought this package in Aug of 2016. I have not used the batteries, i charged them up put them in a plastic case and put them in the gun safe until may of this year.. I took them out and 3 of the 4 had discharged from 3.5 volts down to .98 volts and the last was down to 2.5volts. I didn't worry about it because it had been roughly 9 months. I charged them back up and put them back in the case. Well i pulled them out after 2 months and tested the voltage and it was the same thing! Bottom line, if you need to depend on your cr123 batteries for gun lights or sites DO NOT BUY THESE! THEY ARE JUNK! Don't be lured in by the price..Spend the extra money..

Will not last long and won’t recharge after just a few charges
Absolutely horrible!!! Used 3 times and now they are completely Dead! I waited a long time before writing this review because I absolutely Despise people who give products bad reviews because they received a product late, or had it for two days and decided it wasn’t what they wanted & somehow it’s the products fault. In this case , this was a complete waste of money.

Great cost effective item
Looks super cheap/generic, but it's not too bad. I've gotten other cheap battery chargers from China in the past and made you think twice before plugging them into the same power strip with anything important, but this one is cheap, but not as cheap as stereotypical China junk, more like cheap as in "cost effective". It might not sound like it, but that's a good thing, two CR2 rechargeable batteries with a wall/car charger? It's a good price and you don't have to gamble on random Chinese e bay stuff with long shipping times. The two included batteries charged up in about a half hour or so, no more than an hour from dead to full charge. The individual LED charging indicators are good, not too dim or bright in my opinion. Unless it fails on me in the future, I would recommend this to anyone looking for two rechargeable CR2 batteries. The car charger attachment is also a nice touch as well, even if I never/rarely use it, it's a good thing to have.I plan to use this with my new Viridian C5L compact handgun light/laser combo that takes a single CR2 battery. This will let me use the light and laser at the range/training without burning through expensive and hard to find batteries.

Charges batteries well but a pain to use
This unit is sound electronically, charges well, and indicators are OK (I would have gone with red/green rather than red/blue but that's just me).Ergonomically, however, this unit sucks - very cumbersome getting batteries into and out of the unit using only your fingers! Very poor mechanical design! This clumsiness is aggravated by the units very low mass. If you get one, I suggest you secure it to a stationary flat surface with 3M command strips in an area where it will be easy to recover the MANY batteries you will drop!

Bring your camera back to life...
Bringing my old Canon Rebel 35mm out of the dust bin (okay, the shelve resembled a dust bin)...I realized the CR2 batteries hadn't corroded in it's body. I needed more...I needed something that I could recharge 'em with too....I needed THIS! I received it a couple days after ordering (Prime is GREAT), charged them up and before I could use it, my wife, took it to kindergarten and snapped some pictures. The camera was alive! MWAhahaha, sorry... This charger and battery selection will NOT let you down. The only concern I have is the style of plug it has, both prongs swing horizontally like miniature doors. Not sure how long they'll stand up to repeated (and rapid) use, but so far (a month), they've held up well.

Almost caught on fire.
Worked well for about 2 months then woke up to the smell of something burning one night. It had melted and scorched our wood end table. I am unsatisfied with the product.
