YLhighton Tie-Free Laces 3.0 New Double Hole Elastic No Tie Shoelaces (2002 Black)

They’re not the “Hickies Brand”, but still good. They don’t stay in place & come off more frequently, but not bad. Definitely should’ve bought the original brand, but I needed them faster.

I bought these for my husband because he has dexterity problems due to Parkinson's. The laces are cheap, easily broken plastic, as evidenced by the broken pieces found in the pouch. I was not able to lace up all of the holes, so he is trying them out with some missing. It is our first try with elastic laces, and so far, we are not impressed.

If you love your kicks then this is the simplest way to easily put them on and keep them on. Once you set the laces the elastic band keeps them snuggly on your foot.A must-have for kicks and I am discontinuing using laces.

Since Im always running last minute for work, I wanted to make it quick and easy to just throw on my shoes. I started with those plastic lace lock things. They worked ok, but required time to adjust the lock. Plus, they would always lose their grip over the course of the day and just looked silly because I had a large bunched-up area of laces at the top of my shoe. So then I remember seeing an ad for Hickies, which is basically what this product is probably a knock-off of. I decided to go with this one though because its cheaper. I like this product much better than the locks, as you can just easily slip your shoe on and off without having to deal with any laces. The only problem is that the bands that have the most tension on them may snap over time. Ive had 3 that snapped already, and Ive only had them for 3 months. But that may just be the cause of the environment that I work in. I have oils and isopropyl alcohol that splashes to the ground which may deteriorate the rubber that these are made of. After all, they are just essentially a two-ended thick rubber band, so you cant expect it to last very long. When these finally give out tho, I may try the Hickies brand, just to see if they are stronger. Hope this helps.

I've had them in a pair of shoes for a few days and they are working fine.

I bought these hoping to save money. I normally buy Hickies. 2 sets of these arrived on October 29, 2023 and are only used for one person’s shoes (not even a kid and the person isn’t athletic). It is now January 2, 2024 and both packs are already gone with all of them broken from normal every day use. So 2 packs lasted a little over 2 months. Not worth it to me when Hickies would last at least 3 months per pack. I will not be purchasing again.

I love not having shoe strings that are way to big for my 7.5 shoes. Easy on easy off.
