Great but a few mistakes...
THE GOOD:This is a useful calendar, I love how it has columns for each family member - I actually use a column each for my husband, myself, my boys, the days menu plan, and "other" (family coming into town etc.) I love the plastic sheet that you write on so that if something changes you can just wipe it off and fix it. I also enjoy the To Do List and Shopping List that can be torn off and taken with you.THE BAD:As I was filling in birthdays I noticed as I got to April that a few pages were suddenly in German! I could have still used it without any correcting on my part if it was just the language, but since their calendar week starts with Monday, the pages were all off track. There were 6 German pages (April and May). I'll just cross out the dates and write over them for those weeks on the plastic sheet and it will still be useable.THE UGLY:I'll probably just look for a dry erase calendar next time that I can essentially use the same way as this calendar and not feel bad about all the paper that is used.

Love this calendar!
We bought this calendar every year for years in the UK, and when we moved to the US I was even considering buying one from the UK and shipping it over here, such was my love of this brand! However, I was delighted to find that they do a US version, which was obviously much better in terms of having the correct holidays marked etc.Why it's so good: firstly, I love the amount of space for everyone's activities. I have two children of preschool/school age so it's important for me to be able to instantly compare what they are doing to make sure none of their activities clash (as they still need me to take them everywhere!). I use the clear plastic overlay to write in classes and preschool hours, then I can add in week-specific information on the paper bit. There is space in each square to write up to 3, maybe 4, activities per day without having to squish your writing. We have four columns for the four members of our family, then the other two columns are for noting visitors or vacations, plus things like the deadlines (library books, payments for classes etc) and extra info like addresses for birthday parties. There is a weekly shopping list space, which I find so so useful as otherwise I'd definitely forget it all! The things to do space is less used, but that's just because there's so much room to write on the actual calendar. Finally, I really really like the pocket at the back. My husband has a very unhelpful habit of absent-mindedly throwing away important pieces of paper, such as bills, contact details and important receipts. I can hide many of these in the pocket of this calendar and they are safe from him!I honestly would hate to try to organize my life without this calendar and I thoroughly recommend buying it :-)

Great purchase!
I've been needing a wall calendar that is specific to my needs. I love that there are columns for each specific member of my family. I love having the days on the left side so that I can read everyone's tasks horizontally. There's a plastic "divider" where you can write things that repeat every week so that you only need to write it once and transfer that divider to the front each week. I like the to-do list at the side as well as the grocery list which I use for random notes or reminders since I already use an app for our groceries (that husband and I can see/share from our individual phones). There's also a pen holder and a pen - which didn't last long. At the back cover is a pocket for little things. I store class list there for birthdays and school parties or whatever. It comes with stickers too.The pages are perforated so you can tear off weeks that are done. The "hook" is kind of flimsy but it does the job. Overall, a good wall calendar for my needs.

Excellent layout for our needs
I truly loved everything about this calendar!I really like the layout with the header for names on top and the date on the left, it basically gives you a row per day instead of a column per day, and this just felt better for us.I liked that it had enough space for our needs: 4 names, 1 Family column, 1 Dinner column. I also liked that each square gave you enough space to add multiple entries, drawings or stickers.I also liked the simple and minimalist design of this calendar. Even though it's a "family" calendar, they didn't need to overload every page with cartoons and family related drawings or quotes. Most of all, I like the compact size of this calendar, since it's a week view instead of month, because it fits nicely in the freezer portion of my fridge. The one minor pain point was having to write the names of each header/family member on every single page. Perhaps one way around this might be to create a tab where you can enter the headers and can then be moved with each turn of the page, I've also read that some people simply used dry erase marker on the plastic sheet and then moved that along with each turn of the page. Ultimately, I wrote down each header for every page and I would do it again when I buy the next one!Unlike others, mine did not arrive with any errors, so I can't attest to that. Also, I didn't find a need to tear out each page, I simply turned the page to the back.Ultimately everyone in my family liked this calendar and found it easy to use, so I will most definitely buy another and I really wish I could get my hands on one for 2018.

Where is Everyone?!
This is the second year I've purchased this organizer for our busy family of five adults. When work schedules change it is so easy to make alterations by using the erasable marker on the plastic cover that moves from week to week. With six columns, there's even room for the occasional guest to note their arrival/departure and tourist plans while here. We've never used the tear away shopping list; I'd love an option without that section which would make the overall size smaller. I was disappointed in the blah color scheme for 2017. Also the plastic cover which maintains our names and repetitive plans, is not staying connected as well as the previous year's.
