Magnum Row-Glide Top Cutter

Just got this, and before I put blades in I tested its row finding on my living room floor.I'm impressed. It glided through the row perfectly. This is a game changer for me on how I do my stint.I'm not a real carpet guy - I do trade shows, booth and aisle carpets. The simple design changes from the normal top cutter, the nose is sharper, and the blade is arched which keeps the nose in the row. I can't wait to actually cut some carpet on my next job. I already love this tool.It worked nearly perfectly, but the imperfections were in the very well beaten carpet.Our warehouse guys can't cut a straight line so I showed some of them how this tool works - they were impressed.I showed some of my coworkers who roll out and cut seams - they were impressed.Maybe one day all our carpets will have straight square edges- and maybe I'll win the lottery.But this is a fine tool!

Works exactly as advertised!!! It just didn't come with any blades.

Very good and fast shipping

The one I had before this had the blade depth adjustable for different thicknesses of carpet. I could not figure out how to get the blade in this tool

It was difficult to get the blades in and I still can’t get the blades out. On the first cut it worked out great. The tension on it is so tight it is hard to even get the blades to move up and down. Does anyone know the trick for this?
