I'm 6' 2", 200lbs (91kg) so am keen that anything I buy to carry my weight, plus more, is solid and well built.When this arrived I was firstly impressed by how lovingly packaged and laid out in its box this was. All parts are numbered sequentialy with clear instructions for construction, that come with it, in an A4 size booklet. Following the instructions exactly, the machine takes shape easily and with minimum fuss.Each part is well made and well finished and the end result is very pleasingly heavy and strong, comparing favourably with any other home gym equipment I have had in the past. Most gyms I have been to don't seem to have Roman Chairs these days due to Health and Safety and the potential for easy back injuries if they are not used appropriately.On this subject I would recommend researching how to use the Roman Chair thoroughly on YouTube. There are many videos, featuring all levels of ability, available for free, with advice from career professionals. this being said, the first thing I found out was that everything I thought was wrong and, fortunately I started using it correctly from the start, thanks to the available guidance..If I had jumped in and just got on to it, in addition to wasting my energy, I could have hurt myself.It is fully adjustable and takes my weight easily in all positions. It folds away to about the size of a large ironing board. It's smart and will certainly last for a very long time. For the money, I think this is an absolute bargain. It usually takes me a long tome to get round to writing feedback about my purchases on Amazon. Weeks, even months, go by but I only got this a couple of days ago and, perhaps due to endorphins from home exercising this afternoon, I feel compelled to recommend this to anyone who is hesitating about whether this is any good. It is. I'm happy and am looking forward to having glutes like cannonballs, a washboard stomach and grapefruit shoulders. All I have to do now is put in the necessary, countless, hours of work to get them.

I was concerned as this has quite mixed reviews, but glad I bought it. In my experience this is a well made bit of kit. All fitted together easy enough with the tools provided. While I've not given it a ton of use yet I see no reason to think it won't last a good long while. I'm about 6' and 12 stone ish - plenty of adjustment for height in both directions, and I'd be happy putting far more weight on this.Man talk: One slight niggle. While it does have a gap between the pads I still find I sometimes need to rearrange things so they don't get squished. Not boasting, I'm really not, just saying.... I wish those pads were a little further apart or, better still, adjustable. It's a minor complaint though - this is workable, far better than a one-piece pad. I've not seen anything else at this price-point that looks better. If shopping again I'd still go for this.

Great tool added to my workout, hitting the Glutes and lower back, which is great for balance and stability , Seeing a slight difference to stomach too

This bench is very well built , I would easily think it cost €350 plus , great value for money

In the product photos this Roman chair looks like it might be a bit flimsy. It isn’t. It’s very robust and very solidly made with enough weight to be stable. It also looks good. Assembly is surprisingly straightforward, with about four main assembly stages. The nuts and bolts for each stage of the assembly are encased in small numbered bubble packs, so you just open each pack as you get to that stage. The only tools needed are a small spanner and an Allen key, both of which are supplied. I particularly like the fact that this device is easy to fold after use and has wheels fitted on the bottom so you can easily move it to its storage place. The only downside is that adjusting the height of the pads is a bit fiddly but once you have them correctly positioned you probably won’t need to change the setting unless more than one person of differing height is using the device or you need to adjust the height upwards in order to use the dip bars more comfortably. All in all I have been very impressed. A Roman chair that looks well built and hopefully should last a long time.

Good purchase but beware of missing screws!Received with one screw missing for the pad u rest against. Was supposed to be 4 screws in total to secure it in place but I only received 3 in my assembly pack. Overall not a big deal but I’m taking 1 star off for this reason.Aside from this it’s a decent purchase and is sturdy enough for the task in hand

For this price you can easily buy a multi functional bench for alright quality. I thought I’ll pay the premium price expecting a premium product (because these go for 50s range - same adjustability, foldability) for more than double the price of the average.This is wobbling, not symmetrical, not feeling completely safe on it.You won’t miss out on anything if you buy the cheaper one. This is robbery.

This Roman chair/back hyper extension is very well made, looks great and is sturdy. It came well packaged and was easy to assemble is a short amount of time. Haven’t tried for dips as brought it for QL extensions which it’s prefect for. Folds away for easy storage in home gym. Great product and would highly recommend if you are after one.
