I stitch on paper. To do so, I need to punch holes before I embroider. Those pocket awls (all 3 sizes) are excellent. They allow me to punch holes at the right size for my different embroidery needles and thread. The punching needle is strong and last a long time without wearing down. However, the mechanism to pull the needle out and then back in, is fragile. If you punch to hard, the needle will get stuck.

This is the best weeding tool I have ever owned. Work great grand fast and easy.

A great retractable scribe.I used to have scribes in my breast pocket at work and it would always poke at me when I bend down. No more issues since I switched to this one.

A handy little scribe. I use it every day at work and it fits in my shirt pocket. As a machinist it's nice to have your lay out tools when you need it.

Game changer for sure! This helps weed out small pieces of vinyl when making shirts and whatnot. It's strong, sharp, and retractable which is very handy! No problems and I don't see me having any in the future. Might actually get more.

It's a retractable pen with a pointed piece of metal at the end and it's not particularly well made. The end will push into the body of the tool if you press hard enough and as this is listed as an 'awl tool', it should be able to handle that purpose.I don't dislike it enough to return it, but I wouldn't order it again.

My new favorite weeding tool. It has a good and sharp tip without being too sharp. I like how it retracks and had a nice weight.
