Whilst this is a well made cuff it is not as comfortable to use as the higher end cuffs that come with the original machines I bought this for, the material is quite different being more like woven plastic rather than cloth. It is the fold back and fasten type which is less convenient for one person use than the continuous wrap preform type that come with high end machines like the omron comfort etc. but that being said, it works well and the choice of connectors gives it a wide compatibility. For the price this is a good value for money item, for general use on occasion it is well priced and seems accurate. Recommend for its value for money factor.

IT IS WHAT IT IS

These are great XL blood pressure cuffs but do not last long. I monitor my BP 6 times a day and have found that this cuff starts to malfunction after 3-4 months: air leaking from the cuff or inflating irregularly. When this happens, I have found the readings for BP to be way off and inaccurate, giving lower readings, which is dangerous. If you buy this product, and I haven't found another cuff that fits my fat arms, be prepared to replace it every few months. I always have a backup cuff to check my blood pressure. It's a small cuff that will not fit above my elbow, so I place it on my forearm and take the reading (hospitals will do this when they can't find a big enough cuff). It's less comfortable, and the reading is a couple of points higher, but it will let me know if my XL cuff is taking accurate readings. I hope this helps someone.
