 I am baffled by the reviews on this vacuum. Based on the great reviews, I ordered two of these vacuums - one for me and one for my wife. When they arrived in the mail, I opened them up and was immediately disappointed.First of all, the product is in a box with the following text describing the product contained inside: "Amphibious Car Clener" (sic). In fact, the owner's manual is a folded piece of paper printed on front and back (with language on par with the box it arrived in).This is all forgivable if the product works well. I turned it on and started vacuuming my car's floorboards. I'll admit it had OK power, though carpet took a couple passes to get sand up. But when I got done using it, there was a grinding noise as the rotating motor came to a stop. It sounds like a motor fan or vacuum impeller that is rubbing something internally when it's winding down, but it sounds awful! Check out the video and hear it for yourself! The product is marked with CE and RoHS, which seem to be safety certifications in Europe. But the product itself doesn't have a product label identifying anything; paired with the grinding noise, that's scary. Oh, and when you're done picking everything up, better not let the nose of the vac tip lower than horizontal, because everything you collected will just fall right back out of the front of the vac!Don't be tricked by the positive reviews on this hand vac - I was looking at the Armor All 12V vac but this one had higher reviews so I paid a little more to purchase it instead. Boy do I feel foolish!

—I have been in search of the best car vacuum, and this one was the third one that I ordered.—I like the suction power and cord length. The attachments include a crevice took, stiff brush, and "flexible" hose ALL OF WHICH are essential for ease of use and effectiveness of vacuuming.—The picture depicts the hose as ONE CONTINUOUS piece. One end of the hose is plugged into the vacuum cleaner and the other end is attached to either the crevice tool or the brush. (You can also attach the crevice tool or brush directly onto the vacuum, but I most often clean with the brush attachment on the hose.)—What you cannot tell from the picture, however, is that the hose ends are NOT FUSED TO THE HOSE. As a result, the ends pull out of the hose, separating the attachment from the hose OR the hose from the vacuum with normal vacuuming motions. THIS IS A VERY SIGNIFICANT FLAW. This makes vacuuming a pain, because you have to HOLD THE HOSE ONTO THE VACUUM CLEANER WHILE USING. By the time I first used the vacuum and discovered this problem, it was too late to return it.—Then, five months later, I found out I had paid for the UPDATED model with metal filter but had been sent the older model with paper filter.

A must for tot moms! My 3 yr old takes off his shoes in the car after outdoor adventures. Between dirt, grass, sand, leaves and mulch, not to mention food crumbs, my car is always a mess. This little power house does the job! I didn't realize the car has to be on, as there is no battery to charge. It is powerful and the cord is nice and long. It is compact so I can leave it in carrying case in spare tire well. It's a little difficult to get the filter out to empty it, so be sure to do it over the garbage can.

The flashligh turns on but the motor does not, power is getting to the vacuum but the motor doesn't even turn on. For now I will keep my review at 1 star until I get a response back from the seller and a refundUPDATE: keeping it at 1 star. Seller never answered had to just go through amazon to get a refund and thought I'll give it another try and got another one. Waste of money and time. There's no suction on this thing, the ones at the gas station have way better suction. The motor is so weak from the minute I turned it on I knew I had wasted my time waiting almost 2 weeks to use it. Not too sure where the 5 stars reviews on here come from but mine was garage. Very disappointed

My car is always a mass when I have two kids around. Has been looking for a car vacuum for a while. Never made final decision to buy it until now. However, I am glad I got this one because it is great price for what it can do. Great suction to clean up what is left on the floor and easy to clean up since the filter is stainless steel. Very handy little tool that is not taking up any space in my SUV. Like it

Absolute garbage. Suction was weak to begin and became completely unusable within the first 3 minutes of ownership. Cleaning the filter doesn't help and is beyond impractical if a mobile vacuum really needs this every 2 minutes.I deeply regret gambling the $20 on this and wish I could get a refund. This is going straight to the recycling bin.

I was skeptical when we ordered this. I had never found one that had enough suction power to do a good job on the floor of the truck. This product amazed me. It's easy to handle, has tremendous suction power, and comes with several attachments that ensure you can get in every little corner. I highly recommend this for anyone who travels, or goes off-road from time to time. You won't be sorry.

Loving my vacuum. I had to wait this long to review it to give it a good run through. sometimes I wish it was a lil bit stronger cause vacuuming a car mat in Jamaica is a lot of work!! but it does the job just takes me a long time. It is best to ensure that the line between suction tip and the unit itself is as horizontal as possible to get optimized suction. easy to clean. I wud love if they had packed an extra filter tho. Cause...where am i supposed to get a replacement?
