2022 Vinyl Box is Great !! *****
Bought the 2022 vinyl set for £77 delivered, in Feb 2024, then read the reviews and thought OMG, what have I have done? But this set is fantasticNo scratches at all, on the flawless, flat, perfectly centred vinyl; yes the box is a bit tight, but nothing to cause a problem, it's snug rather than overtight.. And who cares about a booklet? what new information or photos does anybody really expect to see in a booklet? It's all there on the internet, whatever you need to know about these songs is there....Voyage is 180g on my set; I wasn't really bothered but just curious, so weighed it.Every album has a full printed inner sleeve..., some folks might prefer to add their own inners...Go for it!The only single problem I could find on the whole set was a one-inch minor wearing on the top of the Voyage sleeve; that's it. .. No debris, no scratches, no warping, no defects at all on the 100% perfect vinyl...Fantastic set, and I am so happy with my £77 bargain.

ABBA in all their brilliance!!
This vinyl box set is an absolute treasure. There are so many gems in here that never made it to the Greatest Hits albums. ABBA, in my opinion have never done a dud song and this box set is an amazing opportunity to get all of their songs And the sound quality is brilliant!!

Great ABBA box set
Returning to vinyl and reading some of the early reviews for this set I thought I had made a big mistake spending so much. However, it seems the company have ironed out the quality issues found by the first reviewers. The albums all sound great, were in perfect condition (zero scratches from the inner sleeves) and the artwork seems to be a good as the originals. The "box" is very solid and yes it is a tight fit for all 10 LPs but it's not a problem. Small point, but the box itself looks great on the shelf. The music itself of course is 5 star. Very satisfied customer.

Atrocious vinyl pressing
This is NOT a review of ABBA's musical legacy - it does not really need one. This is a review of the product, the 12" 10LP set. I have been buying vinyl for 30+ years, this is possibly the worst production quality that I have seen, maybe in the top (i.e. bottom) three. When you get your set (and assuming Amazon bothered to package your box reasonably well, so that corners of the box are not bumped), I suggest you examine every record visually right away, at least for two types of defects - deeper scratches which come in spots and finer scratches which come in wider areas. The former must have happened at the factory, the latter, most likely, due to the fact that each LP is packaged into a paper sleeve. Replica paper sleeves are neat but they do damage vinyl. Most (not all) decent record companies include two sleeves with their releases - paper and the protective no scratch no static ones. If you find either or both types of defects on your set, listen carefully through every single record while still within Amazon return window. Don't just go for return / replace right away, chances are you will find the same defects in your new set, just on different LPs (I tried two sets). Then you have to decide whether you can live with what you got, try return / replace and repeat the process, or drop the box set idea altogether and try your luck with individual albums. None of these choices is ideal, so whoever was in charge of QC at this pressing plant should be banned from vinyl industry for life, this is an affront to ABBA, ABBA lovers, and broader vinyl community. I know this may sound harsh, but it is so frustrating and such a disappointment...

ABBA AND VINYL
Once again, I am disappointed with the vinyl issue of the ABBA Boxset. I really had hoped that UMC had learned a lesson with the sub-standard quality of Roy Orbison MGM YEARS boxset and the Carpenters Vinyl Album boxset, it seems they haven’t.I had hoped that this vinyl issue would contain a book, similar to the Beatles vinyl box sets. The box housing the vinyl collection is extremely tight and a bit of a fiddly struggle to return an album after playing. The pressings are very poor, in between tracks on most of the albums there is a noise that I can only describe as a “raging thunder storm”. On the bonus disc ABBA Tracks the label on side 1 was missing. The quality of my original 1970’s pressings is far superior to what is being pressed today. After this example, I doubt if I will purchase any further vinyl with UMC on it. Someone should really sit up and take notice of what we the record buying public are saying.Very disappointed!
