I strongly advise people against buying these blankets. Each of the three that I bought pill and lint more than any item I've experienced. The pills/lint have spread to furniture all over the house and to any clothes that have been worn, since I started to use the blankets. I've vacuumed and lint-rolled several items, with only moderate success. I've resigned myself to the accepting that the pills/lint from these blankets will exist in my life for many years to come. Don't be like me. Don't buy the blankets.

This is a very nice blanket. As everyone has said it is super soft and it a perfect weight (especially for summer in the pacific northwest).Pros: True to size posted. I needed a Twin XL for a true twin xl mattress on an adjustable frame. The size was great! I had seen other vendors have twin/twin xl which made me wonder if it would be long enough. It is. I ordered coronet blue and the color was exactly as I expected. After the first wash it was color fast with no issues there. The seller shipped quickly and it came in a plastic envelope, but it was is great shape.Cons: If you have an old school washer like I do (with the tower in the middle) be aware you will have the boa constrictor effect when trying to remove it. I washed it by itself on the first wash because I wasn't sure about the color fastness. I have never had this issue with any other blanket or throw I have ever washed by themselves (including micro fleece throws). I also washed according to the instructions with the drying on low (tumble dry). It pilled REALLY BAD. I have accepted I will be vacuuming these up for weeks to come, but didn't have the time to go over it with tape or a lint roller.Overall: I really like this blanket and for the drawbacks, you really can't complain for the price. Just be aware before you buy and you should be happy.

The blanket is soft and lightweight, but those are the only things going for it. The picture I've attached shows the blanket after it's been washed and dried. It sheds lint like crazy and it only seems to be getting worse, not better. I will spend about 15 minutes meticulously picking off lint or vacuuming it off, and still everything the blanket touches will be covered in lint. The stitching along the edges is also coming unraveled. This is truly an awful blanket.

Current review: So after owning the blanket for months, yes it's perfectly fine and will handle being washed. No real fuzz loss and it holds up quite well, still being soft, but of course, not as soft as it was when brand new. Just a perfectly light weight blanket for those cold days you need to snuggle something.Old review:"So I’m a lil neutral on this. Straight out the package, its softer than I expected. I love the feel of the blanket and our first guest that are using it right now said it is very nice, light weight and comfortable. The BIG downfall that I had with it is, I had to wash it three times in order to get all of the fuzzy stuff off of the blanket. After the first wash and drying cycle I noticed a large amount of fuzzy stuff in the lint catcher. I knew our guest had an allergy to fuzzy scented materials so I washed and dried it again. Thinking that did the trick I put it on the bed. Well, when I folded it back the white top sheet was just covered with again, tons of fuzzy piles. So I had to take the sheets off and wash them again and also the new blanket when in the next load. The fourth time was the charm to get rid of the fuzzy stuff. The maker should put these blankets through a number of washing and drying cycles BEFORE they package them for sell. Otherwise, I love the blanket.

This blanket is so, so soft and fuzzy....loved it until I didn't! I washed it when it came and took it on a road trip with my husband and I. It was so snuggly and warm and I loved it until I noticed that it shed all over my clothes. The sweater and leggings I was wearing that day are pretty much ruined - I simply can't get all the shedding fibers off of them, even after a machine wash and the dryer. There's no way a blanket should shed that much, especially after it's been washed! That's a fail...….

This was a very bad purchase. It is very pretty and soft but it sheds and pills everywhere. I washed & dried it two times and can't get it to stop shedding!! Its is so bad that the blanket and sheet set that I dried after it are covered in little blue fuzzies. I give up and want my money back!It's beautiful in the package but useless in real life. I would give it half a star if I could.

I think I figured this thing out. If you wash it on regular cycle then put it through the dryer, it stops shedding and is otherwise great.The instructions say line dry preferred. I think that's where people may have problems. On arrival, I put it through a delicate cycle and line dried it, which took over 24 hours. It shed everywhere. Unusable. I then put it through a regular cycle. Still shed everywhere. The shedding stopped once I finally gave up and put it in the dryer. Now it doesn't shed at all, is a totally normal, functional, very soft and appropriately warm blanket. No complaints

The blanket is a good size and very soft BUT, it is quite thin so doesn't provide much warmth. I ordered a white blanket and it arrived with small black marks on it. Rather than go through the hassle of returning it, I am now washing it according to the washing instructions. Hoping it will make it through the cold wash and cool drying cycle. I will update later, but at this point, I would say, it's not worth the price I paid. I would be more satisfied if I paid half!Update: It actually washed up beautifully! The black marks are gone and it fluffed up feeling much thicker now. It was vacuum packed when it arrived so probably flattened the fibres which washing and drying looked after. I still,feel it was on the expensive side but am changing my rating to a 4.

Looking for a lightweight blanket that was soft had large enough dimensions to go over queen size bed and you tuck in. Bought 2 white and one beige for our rental house. Going to go back and buy two more for our new house. I would highly recommend them wash them and they came out perfect.

I absolutely love Amazon. Very seldom do I get something I do not want. I have to hang on for awhile and will get another blanket, likely a green one. I am 76 now and cant spend more money until I get my Lung cancer looked after on the 23rd your likely not interested in this story But I will tell you. I was sick on Thanksgiving could not breathe went to hospital they did a Cat Scan and found cancer on my left upper lung I came home got a call the next day they said I had Covid went back to hospital and had pneumonia. So if I had not have had covid they would not have found the cancer. Once I feel good and dare to spend the nice soft blanket is going to be number 2 on my bed. Thank you Amazon for all that you sell to me, I do not know what I would do without you. Shirley

I’m not sure how I feel about this blanket. I bought it for my son to use in his crib ( throw size) becuase of the softness and gsm being 300. It washed fine. No lint, at all. But the quality is lacking. The backside of the blanket isn’t that soft and the seam s are sloppy. Even the tag is sewn on poorly. I bought a soft ear blanket that’s less money that’s so much nicer than this. But I wanted something navy blue. I am ordering the utopia one to se rig it’s any better. Not sure if I will keep this one or not. But for 30 bucks I expected more. Also the colour is a lighter blue then I wanted. It’s thicker than I thought it would be thoUPDATE: so I ordered a second one to replace the first after deciding I wasn’t happy with the stitching . And the second one is completely different. Darker blue, softer fleece. I’m confused by there inconsistency but also pleased with the second blanket being nicer quality. Also came in different packaging??? Strange but it worked out!

Bought this blanket for my 100 year old mother in a retirement home whose beloved older woolen blankets were not long enough to stay tucked in on the newer mattresses. Her concern was her warmth as well. I worried, as did my mother, it was not going to be warm enough but was informed that it IS. Thus it seems a good warm substitute, far cheaper than pure wool, easy to clean, and it stays tucked in at the bottom and long enough to cover her shoulders in the night!! Could not be more relieved! Clearly a most fortunate purchase! And of course it IS very soft and cozy to the touch!
