Task Lamp, TROND Eye Care LED Clip-On Clamp Desk Lamp (11W, 5 Adjustable Color Temperatures, 5-Level Dimmer, 30-Minute Timer, USB Charging Port, Flexible Gooseneck, Flicker-Free)

I bought this task lamp to help me with reading as my eyesight is deteriorating as I get older. I was instantly impressed with the packaging and the quality of the item. The main features of variable light levels and hue, from cold white to very warm, added to the excellent diffuser, which gives a very even non-glaring light add up to a really effective aid to any task requiring good spot illumination with enough spread of light to not be as hard on your eyes as some lamps I have used. The flexible goose neck is stiff but holds its position accurately and I have always been able to position the lamp to give me good illumination without any light spilling where I don't want it.However, I have a minor issue with the touch pad type controls. They work well but are not as well displayed or differentiated as they might be. You really need to look at the pad when pressing controls to avoid changing the hue when switching on or off. Also, the blue power indicator is quite bright.These are minor niggles and I am sure I will get used to them with more use. The bottom line is that I thoroughly recommend this lamp. It is pricey but well worth it. Being able to change light levels and hues in a quite compact unit makes this a great purchase for anyone needing a strong task or reading light.

Good features but the blue LED that signifies "power on" is too bright and the lamp doesn't dim by as much as I had hoped. The colour temperature change feature is very useful - from a daylight colour good for reading to a moonlight colour (Melatonin does not work in daylight colour temperatures). The clamp is powerful and large enough to grab my chunky bedhead without slipping off. Very pleased. Everything has to be perfect for 5 stars. A very useful lamp, good build quality, at a very good price - pleased.

This was purchased to replace an older LED lamp that had faded to the brightness of a couple of candles over several years and has not disappointed. It gives a good, bright light for reading or close work on the brightest setting for any of the light 'colours' and the variable brightness is a benefit depending on the nature of what the light is being used for. The variable colour or temperature settings are also useful, giving some flexibility on whether the lamp is used for reading or as background light, for example. The settings are easy to adjust from the base which also is the clip that secures the lamp to a surface. This looks to be quite adequate for the size of lamp and the flexible stalk allows a lot of adjustment. The excellent idea of providing a USB charging socket on this lamp means that several chargers for phone, tablet, etc. are consigned to storage - a really nice piece of design utility.In short, perhaps a bit pricier than a lot of stuff coming out of the Far East right now, but the build quality makes it worth it.

This is the 3rd style of lights from the company, however this is the 1st that gets so hot (considering it is an LED light). Not sure if it's the different light's head style or poorer quality manufacture is at fault.

Amazing desk lamp, arrived next day and the lamp is bigger than expected but not too big as to be awkward. the lamp head is quite wide and i thought it had a piece of card covering the led's but after reading instructions realised it was the "eye guard" to protect your eyes from the bright led's. Good invention. then theres the clamp, its opens wide enough to fix onto most computer desks and tables. the power and USB port is at the back, the neck is very flexible and can be positioned in multiple angles.The touch panel is on the front top of the clamp and has a very helpful blue backlight to identify the buttons in low light. the modes are very impressive, you toggle through several different "white" light and also brightness. it also has a handy timer. although i havent yet needed to try it and from what i understand it is only 30 minutesHighly recommended

... what does that tell you?I bought the predecessor to this one to use for fly tying and oil painting on a vertical easel and liked it enough that when I needed a second one I was disappointed it was no longer availableThis one is clipped to the curved headboard of my bed and is fantasticThe clip is super strong and grips slick wood like a limpetI can easily read on the lowest level and by bouncing the head upwards it gives a very nice look if I need the bedroom lit upThe change from warm to cool light is also very handy as is the 5 levels of brightnessThe USB charging function is icing on the cake and takes away the clutter next to my bedHaven't used the timer function yetWell worth the money if you want a clip on desk or bedside lamp with low power consumption LED's but still enough light for just about anything

Nice lamp, very sturdy. I bought it after being recommended it for photography but its not bright enough. Makes a nice reading lamp though and I like the function that allows you to change the type of light and intesnsity.

Read the reviews about this light being easy and stuff. So bought it thinking it'll be too small or not like the sturdy Anglepoise Lamp in Steel from years ago when i did Art.This product is Light e. g. You can ease the clamp off with 2 fingers and reposition on another Art board. This product is good to look at e. g. covered in a Black rubber (not waterproof) and the head is the perfect shape. Finally the LIGHT has so many options when Drawing, Painting etc, It is so versatile and the Head moves gracefully to Illuminate an A2 area Beautifully.In Conclusion for £32.99 this is perfect with a 18 Month warranty. Theres an Anglepoise Lamp at the London Design for £3000 its floor standing and promises a LED light, So does this super little Light.
