Interpet Gold - Tap Safe

I have had my gold fish for two years now and this is the product that I have always used. Going on the fact that my fish is still with us, this is the product I will stick to because it only cost a few pounds and seems to last a good while.

I gave this product 5 stars because it works, BUT it's not value for money. This is because this is not a concentrated version, the whole 100ml is only good to treat around 60l of water. This is obviously not enough after two 50% water changes on a 70l tank... You'll get much more value paying £1 or £2 more and buying Interpet Bioactive Tapsafe, that product is also around 120ml per container, but it treats a lot more water because it is more concentrated.If you search for it, it is a blue bottle and the box is also blue with a photo of a real fish. I recommend that one as it will last ages. Unfortunately this Gold range is made for fish bowls, not aquariums. I believe that they should state this on the description but they don't, so you might make a mistake like I did and buy it thinking it's for goldfish and that it will treat lots and lots of water but it won't. It's for old fashioned bowls where fish shouldn't really be kept.Please spend a little more and buy the right product, it will treat you hundreds of litres of water instead of a few tens of litres like this particular one. It's the same brand, but different concentrations... I gave it five stars because it works like I stated previously, it's just a matter of getting value for money in treating 50l versus hundreds of litres with the other product. I hope that helps.

I like this and my fish seems to do well after water changes. Ive not given it full stars due to the last three boxes having no pipette inside. I use the pipette so this is a nuisance.

Brought this for my gold fish ever since I have use this he has been really happy and a good price.

Should have read the small print about it's concentration / dosage amounts. It really is for SMALL goldfish bowls, not larger tanks. As per the headline though, it did the job.

Really works!!! After trying loads of products goldfish still kept dying,I thought I try interpet goldfish range this is the best out of all brands really works I first bought tap safe, really cud c the difference my goldfish seemed more happier,then also ordered fishsafe & disease safe really good products one of my fishes fins wer goin black adding disease safe & fish safe actually cleared & made my fish better really happy will b sticking to dis product 4ever thank interpet

I normally only use one brand but really pleased with how well this worked will use again

Great product!I Was having a problem with one of my goldfish she had red streaks on it’s fins So I decided to give this a try. I did a big water change and im happy to say I’m already seeing a little improvement.
