Blue Buffalo Wilderness Senior High Protein Dry Dog Food Wholesome Grains with Ingredients Chicken

Love this brand and so do my dogs. I choose this one for the ingredients

Hesitant to buy a dog food available at regular stores but after quite a bit of research, selected this senior food and it has been great! Our 10 and almost 12 year old heeler/pittie mixes are very athletic and aging well so we needed to find a lower fat food that kept them going. The oldest dog’s lab work improved to perfectly normal after just a few months on this food and both dogs have lost over 5 lbs (which was advised by the vet). The picky eater LOVES the food which has been a real challenge until now. The only thing I’d note is the food may be a bit drier than they’re used to as both have increased water intake (but all tests remain normal so no health issues). We now try to add some bone broth to each meal and will see if that helps. Otherwise HIGHLY recommend for active senior dogs!

This is a high quality dog food, and with that comes a pricey ticket. However I have found that if you order on subscription it is cheaper than anywhere else you can find.

My dog loves this food and we mix it with the soft food from the same brand.

Quality contents and the dogs love it. I serve it dry.

Both of our dogs have leg/hip issues so the extra protein and glucosamine helps. They like the flavor more than the other cheaper brands. Just wish it was cheaper, but of course that would mean more filler like the others.

We’ve tried many different foods for our senior dog and he seems to enjoy this one. We do add some warm water and sometimes a little spoonful of wet food to mix in.

I began buying blue wilderness because one of our dogs was having stomach problems. This food has made a huge difference in our dogs energy levels and has lost a lot of weight. However, I can't recommend your other brand's of dog food because it has garlic in it. Garlic is toxic to dogs. Why do you put garlic in dog food when it messes with their stomachs and also damages their red blood cells. If would be good if you removed garlic from all your dog food brands. I would like to try your other brands, but can't because of the garlic. As it is. I feel I need to continually have to check your recipe to make sure the garlic remains out of the blue wilderness products.
