Family tree chart - 10 Generation Double Chart (coloured boxes 120 g paper)

Paper chart made in U.K. has a hard finish, be careful with writing instruments as ink will not be absorbed like on normal paper. I recommend a very fine tipped marker pen instead of gel ink pen which I had originally intended to use. Several are mentioned in other reviews. Finished putting names in, most birthdates and places etc. A good match for my family as my descendants fit in well. Wish I a better handwriting. Had trouble deciding what to put under "more info". So far I've put occupation and any military service, also any significant social contribution under the male, and the number of M & F children and social contributions under the female.

I love the look of the canvas chart. I wish they had sold the markers with the chart. Perhaps they did and I didn't realize I would need it. After looking at it closely I believe you will need the special markers or pens they sell. The chart comes with a booklet of items they sell. However, back to basics I love the graph and you will too!!! You can frame it if you want. It is beautiful!!! Taylor

Chart is okay but came very wrinkled - hopefully I can iron it enough to even use it.

I love the colors. It's large enough to write on. It's easy to read.

Am very pleased with the Family Tree Chart. Good quality paper, good size. Will be a good size for framing and hanging. Shipped in a cylinder so there was no damage. Just need time to fill it in!

Took some time looking at what was actually available on the web. It's down to personal choice for the style you want. This one fits our needs very well. I thought 120g paper was heavier, but this will be ok, but keep it stored in the tube it was delivered in to reduce risk of creasing and tearing. Looking forward to filling it in now. Also good tip to buy the right pen to use on it, uniball fine line pens .

I can't comment on its practicality as it is a gift. However I was very disappointed it did not come in a cardboard tube, rather it was in a very large cardboard box amidst a forest of brown paper. Thus I doubt its long term storage life as there is nowhere to keep it safely.

Loved it and can't wait to start filling it in! Easy to follow? lovely canvas material. It feels, and looks old! Well protected in a strong cardboard tube. It would look lovely in a picture frame on the wall, and will, I expect ,promote lots of conversations. Recommended;

Very well made but I couldn't fit some names in as I'm not a small writer. Took me a while to get started and unfortunately added a wrong name which I couldn't correct because of lack of space. Would suggest writing in pencil first which I didn't have at the time. A good product for and a good starting base beginners

Good size but didnt like th way it was set out ..boxes for dates ect so small to write in . Overall good enough for basic starter but will look for better one for finished tree
