Works very well
His food saver works very well, itās not very expensive so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out how well it did work. I donāt know how long itās going to last but for right now I am very satisfied.

Easy to use & to store. Seal very well for refrigerated products.

Easy to use - seals well
I was a little leery when I unrolled the bags because the material has a kind of ongoing wrinkle in it which can sometimes cause a bit of a "hiccup" in the seal. However, this did not appear to affect the sealing process. In fact, it did seem like the sealing happened a little quicker and easier than my typical bags. Perhaps because it might be a little lighter weight than the others. I don't know yet if that will affect the overall performance but it doesn't look like it will. It is also easier to cut than other bags I've tried so that's a plus because I like the large size that can be cut down and make my own size bags quite regularly. Also, easy to label with a sharpie. (Sometimes, it's the little things that make life better.)

Seems to work very well
It is a little slow compared to some, but the unit works very well overall. I tried sealing both vacuum bags and snack (chip) bags. If I double sealed the chip bags they would burn through. If the contents were extra greasy, (Aldi peanut puffs) it was difficult to get a seal at all. I have not tried the external pump function as I donāt have any of those type of containers. The packaging was just a plain brown box with a sticker on it. But everything inside seemed to work well!

Nice little vacuum sealer
This is a nice little sealer to have around the house, and it comes with a few bags. It will seal just about any bag, and it will even vacuum seal other brand bags. I use it primarily for vacuum packing/resealing hops and sugars for homebrewing. Great for keeping everything fresh, and the vacuum seal seems to hold. It's no more or less as finicky as any other sealer I've used. Great value.

Great deal
These vacuum sealed bags are great. They work great with my vacuum sealer. The size of them is perfect for bulkier items. They are a little thinner but still seal very well and keep food fresh.

small and very useful
I like that this food vacuum sealer is smaller than my other one I bought 10 years ago! I have only sealed 5 bags of various items, but I am impressed so far. I will update my review after I have used this more.A buy from me.

easy to use and versatile
Clean design and easy to use. I love how versatile it is! It can be used to vacuum seal, seal without vacuum, and used to vacuum other things with a small hose. It worked great for several bags but on one of them, it didn't vacuum completely before self-sealing. Great for freezing food.

Decent vacuum seal machine, 100W (not 130W claimed), easy to use, feels cheap, works fine otherwise
The media could not be loaded. Ā This is a reasonably decent vacuum seal machine with multiple operating modes such as vac, seal, canister, and pulse that's typical of most other vacuum sealers on the market. All of these are common ones although they might have different names amongst different brands.Vac is the most basic function and self-explanatory while 'seal' simply means sealing the bag by applying heat which is necessary to start it off after cutting the bag to the desired length. The pulse mode allows you to turn on/off the 'vac' operation on demand without performing the sealing operation (i.e. sucking air out of the bag only). The canister is for suction air out of an external system via the provided tube.ā This particular vacuum sealer clams to have 130W with -60kPa suction power; unfortunately, it clearly states that it's rated for 100W ONLY and not 130W which is not only disappointing to find out, it's also quite upsetting and I wish they would stop lying and/or exaggerating their capabilities because the consumers, and I repeat, we WILL find out eventually. With that being said, it does peak at around 120W-130W (via power monitor) during the last stage of the 'Vac' process. As such, I'm gonna let this particular one slide since it does perform adequately well during the tests; however, the decision is yours on whether this is something that you wanna try.In comparison to some vacuum sealing machines (FoodSaver being one of 'em) that I have/had in the past, the suction power of this particular machine seems reasonably decent given its rather cheap physical appearance and being very lightweight (which is often not a good thing for electronics) although the cans were less completely crushed (if there is a such thing) by this machine vs. others. In either case, its performance for ordinary food seems just fine for the most part and its longevity remains to be seen, as always.ā” ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent vacuum sealer rated at 100W (one of the most important factor when choosing a vacuum sealer) and it works as expected without issues (for now). Though, it is EXTREMELY reasonably priced at $20 for what it provides and its overall features, usability, and performance. Of course, the true value of this product would greatly dependent on how long it will last which is difficult to gauge at this point in time for obvious reasons and if it can have a comparable lifespan as most other budget/off-brand vacuum sealers, I'd say this is certainly worthy of the investment. Your mileage might vary.

Works but to the minimum required
When I ordered this vacuum sealer, it was $19.99. That seems like its too good to be true... and as usual, it is.It does certainly work to seal standard vacuum bags, but there are issues.š The biggest PROBLEM is the alert tone once it finish's vacuuming and then sealing, or even just sealing the end of a bag cut from a roll, is the extremely loud alert tone. This is so obnoxious. I took the machine apart, deactivated the buzzer, and, in the process, discovered how cheaply made this is compared to the more expensive options. Based on what I found, my guess is that it might just make it to the end of its warranty time, but that's about it.I've been using vacuum sealers for over 20 years and have had the opportunity to use probably a dozen different options. Any conclusions I draw are based on this experience.Ok, the good stuff:āŗ If does vacuum and then seal a bag, but when I feel the sealed bag, where there are any loose areas due to what's in the bag, it doesn't seem to remove the same amount of air as other sealers. In other words, it doesn't pull the same amount of vacuum, but I have no technical way to test this; it's just an observation.āŗ It is lightweight.āŗ The vacuum pump doesn't seem to be any louder than many other options I have used.āŗ The top-mounted buttons are easy to use.āŗ There is an LED display of sorts on the top panel that counts downwards when sealing. It is useless but amusing.āŗ The two release buttons, one on each end, are easy to press when sealing is done. The not-so-great stuff:Ā» This is built about as cheaply as it could possibly be.Ā» Having been inside the unit and being an electric mechanic, I can guarantee that this would not pass any electrical certification for use in Canada if it was submitted.Ā» The plastic case is very thin; one drop, and there is a high degree of probability that it would crack, and once that happens, it could not seal properly around the bag's open end for vacuuming.Ā» The top panel where the buttons and LED display use a very cheap one-piece cover which already had bubbles forming on the buttons when it arrived. It won't take much use before the adhesive used to keep it in place comes loose. One end already was right out of the box.Ā» The method used to keep the AC power cord connected to the case is very cheap, and if tugged hard enough by accident, it would come loose, and in the process, wires would be stressed in their connectors, which are plugged into the very cheap circuit board.I strongly recommend spending a few more dollars and buying something that will last. There are a lot of really good non-brand name options here on Amazon.

For the priceā¦. I thought this would be junk
But itās not.Itās a basic vacuum sealer. But it does vac tight, and seals well.Ive only used higher end home vac sealers and this did not let me down. You do have to seal a few then let cool down, or instead of sucking the air out you just get a melted bag (half to full seal). The tube attachment works, but not with food saver jar attachments. It looks like you should get a seal, but you donāt and Im assuming there is a line of canisters that go with itā¦..but I have owned some and didnāt find them useful for what I do.I couldnāt believe for that price you would get a functional vacuum sealer. But after really putting it thru the gears, I found no issues that you wouldnāt see with a bigger brand name unit.

Great product
This is a great product. I love that it comes with a suction hose as well for canisters. It machine works really well. I just wish it would have come with more bags, but that's not a big deal. I am pleased with this product.

Sturdy Constructionš
I'm not familiar with vacuum sealers for food but thought I'd give this one a try. Certainly fairly priced when I ordered it, compared to similar products here at Amazon Canada.Materials and workmanship seem fine. Unit was bigger than I expected which was a good thing. Came complete with some small starter bags and basic instructions. As an avid cook, I was hoping to use this mainly for bakery items like bread š which gets dried out so quickly when made from scratch. Turns out, there are actually a lot of for items that are not supposed to be vacuum sealed, including bread.š Other no-no's include mushrooms, onions...if you check online there is a lot more information about this. Some foods can even develop more bacteria when vacuum sealed. Another disappointment. All things considered, this isn't a kitchen item that I would be using much, if at all so I'll be passing it along to someone else who can hopefully enjoy it.Geraldine Helen Hartman, author of:The Groovy Green Kitchen cookbook seriesšššš
