Love my bullet journal
I had received one that was defective. The seller quickly reached out to me and replaced it for me. My new bullet journal has been great with no problems. I am happy with the response from the seller, and the quality of the book. I like the weight of the paper...I have some bleed through, but it doesn't bother me. The dots on the pages are dark enough for me to see, yet not too dark for my liking. I have had other journals with the print being too light, and I have visual issues so I need it darker. I love the feeling of the cover and the elastic closure. It is what I wanted, and will buy again from this seller.

Very nice!
I was very impress with this dot grid journal! It has a pocket in the back, a band closure, a ribbon bookmark, a page in the front to put your info in case it is lost and the cover is nice to the feel, sort of like leather, but not. For the price I would definitely buy again.

Soft-cover doesn't work for me
I purchased this notebook knowing that it had a flexible cover, but it was much thinner than I expected. It looks really nice at 8.25" x 5" and the black is solid black.Back cover has the Omega Paper logo embossed on the lower / center.I am returning as I need a cover that is a little stiffer, unfortunately. Fantastic price for the number of pages and color selection of covers.

Good bullet journal choice
Great bullet journal or all around diary notebook. The cover finish feels really nice and it has held up very well. Some inks need a little extra time to dry/soak in.

Ok for gel but not fountain
I like the quantity of paper and the quality of the binding, but the paper allows for excessive bleed-through. I will make use of it with gel pens.

nice book, some flaws, very poor for fountain pen use
First of all, this book just feels wonderful to handle. I want to pick it up and thumb through it just for the experience of it. The cover is some kind of synthetic imitation leather that feels soft and wonderful and, bonded to a heavy inner paper layer, ends up with a very nice balance of firmness and flexibility. The number of pages in it is precisely as advertised, which is good in and of itself, but I also like the specific page count: 264 gives me a nice ratio of 8 frontmatter pages (index, etcetera) and 256 content pages. The dot grid printing is pretty close to ideal; I have no complaints there. The elastic closure band left some imprints at the top and bottom edges, where I can see the grain of the band imprinted on the surface of the book for probably a third of an inch, which is a very mild disappointment. The underlying construction of the notebook shows through as shapes that can be discerned and somewhat felt under the imitation leather surface of the cover, as well. Perhaps another layer of firmer padding between the layers of cover would have improved on that, though it would affect the flexibility of the notebook as well. For writing purposes, I bought this for use with a fountain pen. This turned out to be a terrible mistake. It is the lowest quality 80gsm paper I have (I'm somewhat spoiled by Rhodia dotpads, but I also have cheaper 80gsm pocket/field notebooks that handily outperform this paper). It is a bit more tactile than I expected, which is a matter of taste (but not to my taste), but that is the least of the problems. It feels thin for 80gsm paper. Writing on one side ghosts through to the other side readily. The ghosting would probably interfere with readability of text written on the other side if not for the heavyness of line thickness (more on that in a moment). The surface seems to dry at a reasonable rate, but it does so by absorbing ink so readily that it's entirely too easy to bleed through the paper so that ink stains the opposite side. Lingering for even a moment may be enough to bleed a spot all the way through the paper. The paper seems to hungrily suck the ink out of a fountain pen. I find that with a Pilot fine nib pen (and, Pilot being a Japanese company, that's at least as fine as a typical European extra-fine nib) it writes almost like a broad nib on this paper. I get very thin, very precise lines on almost any other paper, but on this it seems almost like writing with a sharpened crayon or a "fine point" Sharpie marker (not a Sharpie pen; a marker). The sheer breadth of the resulting lines is a bit daunting, and makes it effectively impossible to write very small while keeping the text legible. The paper at least does not seem to cause any feathering that I've noticed so far. Maybe it's because the spread of ink is so fast and thorough that it overtakes any feathering and masks that effect. I don't really know.As I said at the beginning of this review, it's very nice to hold, and seems well-constructed other than the printing issues of the cover picking up marks and showing texture through from underlying materials. The pocket in it seems well-constructed, though I haven't really tried storing anything in that pocket yet. The quality of the heavy sheets in front and back (including the name-telephone-return-to-owner page in the front, which does not factor into page count as advertised) is much higher, and performs much better under a fountain pen, but they're also much stiffer, heavier paper. Despite all the positives, this is pretty much wholly unsuitable for the reason I wanted a nice dot grid journal this size, so I won't likely buy another when I find enough uses for it to fill it up (or after I give it away, whichever I end up doing). It's even worse than Moleskine for fountain pens.Perhaps it is an excellent pencil sketchbook. I don't know. I just recommend very strongly against this product for fountain pen use.
