Tested with: Galaxy S7Build quality:These bluetooth headphones are surprisingly well built. They look good, the chord is the right length, and the magnets in the back of each driver unit, which allow them to clasp to each other (forming a necklace when resting around the neck and not in use) or a genius touch. The earpieces are very comfortable, and come with a variety of replacement cups in different sizes, plus ear clips for use when running. Very impressiveSound quality:For the low price, and wireless connectivity, these aren't too bad. The bass response is nice and meaty, but there's a discernible lack of top end clarity and the mids are muddy. If you want sound quality, you're far better with a pair of wired Sennheiser CX300 II's or similar. However, for a neat, functional set of BT earphones, these aren't bad, especially if you're listening to bass heavy dance music at the gym. I've had worse sounding wired earphones that cost more.Operation:The instruction leaflet that comes with the headphones is written in poorly translated English, but is at least vaguely understandable. A long press of the middle button of the in line remote puts the phones into pairing mode, and they paired easily enough with my S7. Once paired, the same button turns the phones on and off with long presses, and they re-paired well each time.As with many BT phones, audible feedback is passed through the earpieces to let you know about the current status of the headphones. Unfortunately the lady that tells you weather the headphones are on, off or in pairing mode does so in what I presume is Cantonese or Mandarin, so you have to guess at what she's saying.The beeps and spoken feedback are also incredibly loud. If you're listening in bed at low volume levels it's a little jarring to have a Chinese lady scream at you when you turn the headphones off, but at least it's brief. Likewise the beep that sounds each time you press the volume up or down keys is incredibly loud. Worth knowing if you have sensitive ears.Conclusion:For the price, these are great value. They'll never match a decent paired of wired earphones on sound quality, but they look good, are well built and work smoothly, other that the occasional loud beep or shouty Chinese lady.
