Great collection of recipes I bought the first book locally for a gift and upon looking through it I liked it so much. I bought the second copy on Amazon..

Book is easy to read and understand. Baked 3 different biscuit recipes. Followed directions and all were delicious. Great with sausage gravy and eggs for breakfast. Butter and jam great or bacon egg sandwich. Glad I purchased.

Great recipes and easy format to follow. I am a novice baker and appreciate the ease of use including the instructive photos. For those who want the basics, this is the book.

The biscuits are wonderful with lots of options... not just breakfast or dinner biscuits. To name two recipes: I have tried the cheese wafers-- yum, but my favorite so far, believe it or not, is the dill biscuit.The cookbook includes lots of cute stories and side bars-- I like the Sal-Mon Patties one, and of course, more recipes than just biscuits-- jams, meats, pies, gravies-- the list goes on. Also, she gives step by step directions -- with pictures (!) -- for making biscuits. I don't know why, but I never thought of making biscuits on a tea towel, and I am so glad to know that--seems like it will make clean up easier... I hope!I love to cook and this is a fun book-- a pleasure to use and read!

You wouldn't think there would be that many different ways to make biscuits, but this book will quickly show you how wrong you are. It is full of great, and innovative recipes, most of which can be customized to your taste. Ever thought of making broccoli biscuits? Or how about chocolate chip biscuits? If you are a biscuit-lover, this book will open a whole new world for you. And all the recipes are very easy to follow. You'll be cranking out world-class biscuits like a pro in no time at all. I can't recommend this book enough....

Oh my goodness at the yummy recipes in this book!! I cannot wait to get cooking! They are easy, and there is so much variety too!! I also had chocolate gravey growing up and could not replicate my mother's recipe--this one is the very closest I have found--so YUMMY!!!! Thank you so much for creating this cookbook--you won't go wrong with this one!!!!! A true Southerner's dream come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book includes history of biscuits and photos. Several biscuit recipes are included but some recipes use canned biscuits. A lot of photos but more about using biscuits than making biscuits. Recipies do not include metric measurements.There are mentions of keeping the faith, resurrection biscuits, praying for grace sprinkled through this book.

Sorry this book isn’t for me. I wanted a recipe book for biscuits, this book contains a homely history of the writer and her voyage into biscuit making, and the recipes and biscuits are North American (USA), based so even less useful for me over here in Europe.

This is good recipes for making delicious Biscuits with different idea for taste !
