In trying to live a healthier lifestyle, one of the things I’ve been doing is using organic / natural shampoos for several years now. I have to say that this shampoo is by far the best one yet (and I’ve tried many). It makes my hair soft and helps control breakages and split ends. If you like the smell of peppermint like I do, you will smell it when you’re washing your hair but know that the smell is very light when your hair is dry.I’m happy with their products and plan on trying their other products.I don’t write reviews but feel that this product deserves a good review.

This shampoo is great! I've used it a couple of times and I just love the peppermint smell!, it cleans really good, my hair looks shinier and it's less frizzy, I like that it's a natural shampoo and I think it works better than any other commercial brand I've used.I really like this product and I would highly recommend!!

I am glad that I already was refunded the full purchase price for this shampoo. It arrived in my mailbox so poorly packaged that I am not sure when my mailbox will stop smelling of peppermint. Regardless, I took a shower this morning to try what remained in the bottle. It was a complete disaster. I am female, with color treated long blonde hair. This product is so watery I had trouble getting it from my hand to the top of my head, without it slipping off my hand. I tried a normal amount, about a quarter sized dollop, and tried to lather, well, that didn't work, so I added more, to the sides of my scalp, and then above my neck towards the back of my head. Now that I had 3× the normal amount of shampoo, I tried to get it to lather, some foam was produced, but I still didn't feel like I was getting clean. I gave up and rinsed the product out. I felt my hair, and it felt awful, like it was drying out, and beginning to tangle already. I grabbed the best conditioning hair mask I owned and applied it Midway down the hair, and through the ends. Shower comb, as I worked my way up, it was clear that the hair on my scalp was tangling. I had to put conditioner on my scalp people!! This product is more trouble than it is worth, be warned, unless you are a person with very short hair, do not buy.Edit:This small company was so upset about my poor review they really wanted to make me happy. This product is presumably no longer available because they are tweaking the formula. I was sent the new formula free of charge with a complimentary conditioner to try. Although my hair did not tangle as bad as before, I still had to use more than a normal amount of product. My husband has the original bottle, and says that it is one of those that needs the repeat, in the wash, rinse, repeat cycle. Only then did it lather for him. So I will say use this with abundance, and it will work like any other shampoo on the market.

From time to time I add water to a super thick shampoo which usually helps it cover more hair and also improves the lather. So I was hopeful when the product arrived in a padded mailer w/ the cap loose enough for the surprisingly thin liquid to have leaked into the container. Unfortunately, it's hard to get a lather from this watery stuff which means you have to use more. And then the meager lather is also hard to rinse out. In short, Enoviva-Sulfate Free does all the things you don't want from a shampoo. Nice smell, but I won't order again.
