High Performance, seamless switching.
This USB switch was attempt number 2 at finding a technically solid solution for switching a gaming keyboard and mouse, and a webcam (Razer ornata v2, Balalisk V3, and Kiya Pro) between a work laptop and a gaming PC. And while this one cost twice the price of the last, it's performance is easily double, and hasn't skipped a beat.First - the bandwidth:A lot of cheaper switches say they offer USB 3 or even up to 3.2, but while that might be the case when connecting one or two devices, the signal will quickly degrade with more connected. My previous switch was rated up to USB 3.0 and that 0.2 difference with the 3.2 in this switch is a LOT. Previously the LED effects on my keyboard and mouse would stutter and have noticeable performance latency when the webcam was also connected. This switch has no such issues and all devices function perfectly.Set up:This one uses USB-C connectors which is amazing. It frees up 3 USB-A ports on my PC for other devices, and means all the cables needed can plug into one side of my laptop keeping it tidy (as most laptops will pair the HDMI, and USB-C I/O next to each other). It works with any USB-C cable which supports USB 3.2 - As I bought a 3M USB-C cable and it works great!Performance:Performance on this device is lightning fast. When hitting the button on my desk my mouse is controlling the next PC by the time my hand reaches back to it. On the old switch I would often have to wait a few moments, and even then the switch would often malfunction, causing me to need to re-insert it into the USB port - not here! 100% issue free!Build qualityThe build quality is great, in particular the remote switch has a nice feel to it and is easy to locate and feel without looking at it. (its mounted under my desk) - this is a huge improvement over the remote of the previous one, which was cheap rubber plastic with barely noticable bumps for buttons.Overall, absolutely spot on product.

Works fantastically where integrated monitor hubs fail
I have two monitors with monitor hubs, and two computers. I connect one computer via USB-C, which then does both displayport and USB-data, and another over DisplayPort alongside a USB-B to USB-A cable. When it works it's fantastic. When it doesn't, it's a pain. Often, the USB hub simply refuses to recognise the monitor has awoken. This is my 3rd Ugreen USB "switch". It works fantastically. It's well built, I don't receive any errors about plugged in USB devices malfunctioning. It's easy to switch from computer 1 to computer 2 and vice versa, and best of all, it works with my UGreen 10G 4port USB-C dock, hub, thingy. So out of this I'm able to run 7 ports and that's everything from a camera, to an audio interface, to a dac/amp, to mice, to a keyboard, with 1 port leftover. If someone invented a USB "switch" that had more ports (like, 10), was powered, and could eliminate the need for an additional hub, dock, thingy, I'd be all over that. This isn't cheap, but the headaches it will save more than make up for it.

Solid device that generally works well
Overall this has been a good purchase that generally works very well for flipping my peripherals between devices.I've had no issues using high bandwidth devices simultaneously on this (unlike some of my previous hubs), UHD webcams and high bandwidth audio mics work without issue which has been great. The switch being cabled is a nice option for flexibility, I've buried the hub under my desk and just have the swicth accessible which is nice for a clean aesthetic. The only downside I've encountered is that sometimes the hub isn't detected when switching, this happens a couple of times a week and may be an issue on the PC side but, either way, it's a mild annoyance and isn't as nice an experience as it could be.At £40 (at time of purchase) it's expensive but if you need high bandwidth peripheral switching then this works well. If you can find it on a deal it's well worth picking up.

Very useful for dual set ups
With 2 computers running on the same monitors I wanted to have my keyboard, mouse and webcam easily usable on both. Plugging everything in and having a quick switch that let's me hide the box and cables means it's all super quick and easy to use. Much cheaper than getting a full kvm switch when I can just change the input for the monitors

works with a desktop PC
My new machine lacks an SD reader and is hidden behind the desk so aswell as needing an SD card reader it also required a USB port for plugging in usb sticks. I purchased an expensive "name brand" usb hub/card reader and it would not read eFAT format drives or large SD XC II cards. So i returned it and tried this ugreen equivalent which is sold as a laptop hub and nowhere in the listing or reviews does it say it can be used on a conventional PC. So the important message is that this works fine with a PC. i have the keyboard, mouse and wacom tablet running off it with one slot left for usb sticks and the built in SD card reader also working perfectly. This is all without using the power connection which is meant for charging a laptop but on a powered USB 3.2 socket this all seems to work fine without it. I'm using the ugreen usb extender cable to bring it up to desk level.

Not what I expected
I wanted to use the input from a docking station to switch between two laptops. Does not provide power via the USB-C and appears to be unable to share additional monitors (including USB-C portable monitor) so not what I expected. Specification and description did not make this clear. Only able to share mouse and keyboard so still need multiple USB-C power supplies and a separate switch for additional monitors if using 2 laptops,.e.g. a.work laptop and a personal laptop.
