this is a well designed, well accomadated, fairly elegant product.Its apparent to me, that this was created with the user experience having been considered througout its making. i went so far as to state this, because if youre like me, youve always nomatter what, despite counteless attempts in working around possible ways of successfully working these pcb boards, after number amount of failed attempts, seeking other possible routes to be able to ultimately use a product with zero success. with no obvious reason as to what is going wrong, only to never be able to use a product.many products of this like, in particular; an item sold in the state requiring its purchaser to setup its program and determine usabilty;are hardly ever a deal breaker, even for people such as myself whos odds of successfully installing program onto board, render user satisfaction well earned. which so happens to be .5% out of a 100 percent of times tried. Unsuccessful attempt, can happen for a wide range variety of possible reasons, one big reason being, the self educating beginner. which so happens to not even be a problem, for this device.its creator(s), have designed this board to provide an EASY, SIMPLE!, andWELL-THOUGHTOUT, user-setup, product installation experience.this device far surpassed my hopes expectations.wondering how, or in what way(s)?bug it to find out.you will not regret, having done so, of this i assure you.

Works good except for the upload process. The camera works great though, better than the standard esp32 camera board.

Easy to use

I purchased this module to start working on a model for numbers recognition AI. I could not believe how easy was to lose every chance at testing or continue testing with this board. The antenna disconnected somewhere between my computer desk and my patio full of grass. At some point I spent nearly 4 hours looking for the antenna to no avail. I have ordered other antennas for wifi / Bluetooth, but nothing seems to make my device accessible via WiFi anymore. Apparently, the antenna is for this board and no other antenna will work with it.

I was looking to add facial recognition to my project, and thought of K210 which usually programs in C, C+ or with some flashing - micro python.... but then came across this AMB82-Mini… it can be programmed with Arduino IDE (so can be used with my Rasbery PI Pico W project) and handles both facial detection and recognition just fine… and ½ price of the K210. Very pleased with this product!

I’ve been using the AMB82-Mini for two months, and it has exceeded my expectations. This camera module has proven to be an excellent outdoor security solution, providing 24/7 monitoring in our area.What I like about the AMB82-MINI is:1. Weather Resistance: The camera can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from 40–57°C (it gets very hot here in my place). I’ve housed it in a dummy CCTV case with an aluminum roof, and it performs reliably.2. Typhoon Durability: During a recent typhoon, it handled heavy rain and strong winds without any issues.3. Night Vision Capability: It captures clear footage at night without needing an IR LED or removing the IR filter. While there’s a streetlight in front of my home, the camera still manages to see into darker areas.4. Image Quality: The footage is crisp and has minimal distortion. I use an RJ45 USB extender due to the camera’s outdoor placement and experimented with various power supplies to find one that provides sufficient current and reduces distortion.5. System Compatibility: The camera offers configurable resolutions and works perfectly with my Frigate NVR system. I do occasionally run across software errors (about once a week), but a quick reboot typically fixes the problem.All things considered, the AMB82-Mini is a strong and adaptable camera that works well under a variety of circumstances. Its functionality and performance have left me quite happy.
